Vincent responded by drawing his sword.
Buzz!
Vincent immediately released his internal energy and dashed toward Darryl. He could not hide the smugness in his eyes. "If you do not want me to cripple you, Darryl, get down on your knees and call me Grandfather."
Vincent's heart was full of viciousness. He must teach Darryl a good lesson and let him know the consequences of provoking his woman.
He thought that Darryl had no strength at all. He was like meat on a chopping block with a little girl by his side. Vincent could torture Darryl as he pleased.
Darryl said, with a faint smile, as Vincent rushed toward him. "What did you say? Do you want to refer to me as Grandfather?"
Vincent was furious. "You are courting death!"
Darryl had dared to retort at a time like that. He was courting death.
Vincent accelerated in rage.
Sherman, who had taken the lead then, dashed in front of Sofia. In a desperate moment, she fought him fiercely as she held the longsword tightly.
The two swords collided, making crisp sounds as they did so. Sofia bit her lips and was forced to retreat.
Even though Sofia had reached the level of an elite disciple, she was still no match for Sherman. After all, he was one of the best disciples in the younger generation of the Heavenly Ocean Sect.
"I'll cut off one of your hands first."
Vincent dashed in front of Darryl at that precise moment and yelled angrily. His longsword drew a cold arc in the air and cut directly at Darryl's arm.
"Argh!"
Darryl pretended to be nervous as his arm was about to be severed. He yelled, turned around, and dashed into the forest behind him.
Darryl only needed one move to subdue Vincent and Sherman with his strength, but if he did, he could not hide the fact that he was a cultivator.
