"She really is one of the Hexa Swordmaidens. I can't believe she could take down so many people while surrounded. How terrifying. However, I'm pretty sure the sword chant took up a great deal of her energy."

Amidst everyone's shock, Lumi could be seen with a pale face, and her slender body was trembling. It was evident that the last terrifying sword chant she summoned had used up a great deal of her internal energy, and she did not have much of it left.

Upon discovering that, Martin could not help but shout, "Quick! Her internal energy's almost gone. Let's strike at once, and take her down. Whoever becomes the first to take her down will have the right to do whatever they want with her."

In response, the crowd rushed forward in a crazed manner.

They had guessed correctly. Lumi had lost a severe amount of internal energy, and could not take upon the attacks of the incoming throng.

Within seconds, she had been stabbed twice, blood gushing out instantly.

The pain from her wounds grew by the second as she jerked, stumbling backward as her face paled even more.

At the sight, Darryl could not quite keep his calm anymore. To tell the truth, the Hexa Swordmaidens were indeed cold and ruthless, but they were not deserving of death.

More importantly, Darryl could not bear to watch a pure, untainted woman be humiliated that way in public.

Just then, a sect member rushed in front of Lumi with a cunning grin on his face, looking her slender body up and down without holding back in the slightest.

"One of the infamous Hexa Swordmaidens is about to be at my mercy. Gosh, what an exciting thought. Don't worry, you pretty thing. I'm not going to hurt you as long as you behave."

As his words rang through the air, the pupil sped up as he reached out to grab Lumi's wrist.
