Martin's face turned ghastly pale when he heard that. He stared at Darryl with murder in his eyes and said, "Well, you killed my disciple. I have to fight you now."
"Listen up, Heavenly Ocean Sect disciples! Take Darryl down," Martin roared, anger coursing over his body.
Martin had been a cultivator for many years as the Great Elder of the Heavenly Ocean Sect. With a single glance, he could tell who was lying and who was telling the truth. He knew what Darryl had been truthful, and Sherman, his disciple, must have died in a trap he touched.
However, Darryl showed no regard for him when it came to the Spirit of the Heavenly Secret. Martin was already enraged, but since they were in the same alliance, he did not dare to confront Darryl publicly.
Martin knew it was time when Vincent accused Darryl of murdering his beloved disciple in front of everyone. He could not let Darryl off the hook for general and private reasons.
Even if the Sect Master of the Pure Yang Division found out later, no one could save Darryl from his predicament.
"Kill him!"
When Vincent saw Martin finally speak, he could not help but scream, "Kill Darryl to avenge Sherman!"
"Kill him!"
As soon as Vincent finished speaking, all of the Heavenly Ocean Sect's disciples drew their longswords and aimed at Darryl with determination.
When the Heavenly Ocean Sect and Darryl got into a fight, the other sects shouted as well.
"Hall of Wind and Thunder disciples, listen well. Take Darryl down."
"Let's get him together! Kill him and snatch the Spirit of the Heavenly Secret!"
After hearing the order, all the disciples rushed toward Darryl. Those sects had some misgivings about Darryl's identity anyway.
After all, Darryl was the head of the Pure Yang Division's Elixir Sector, second only to the Palace Master in power. Anyone who attacked him would become an enemy of the Pure Yang Division. At that point, seeing that Martin had instigated a fight with Darryl, the crowd's previous concerns vanished.
