"We've finally come out!"
Just when Darryl sighed in his heart, Lindsey stretched out and said happily, "The air outside is so fresh."
Lindsey returned her gaze to the exit hidden behind the waterfall as she spoke. Her eyes were slightly red, and a wave of sadness surged from the depths of her soul.
Even though the underground town was dark and she had slept for a thousand years, it was built by her father. She was still a little reluctant to leave.
Darryl sighed in his heart. Then, he patted her on the shoulder and said, "I'll take you back when I have a chance in the future. Let's go."
Lindsey looked at the exit reluctantly. Then, she was about to leave with Darryl.
"Wait!"
However, a faint voice emerged from the nearby forest at that precise moment. The tone was neutral, but it exuded an undeniable aura.
Darryl and Lindsey were stunned to hear that voice.
The two turned their heads simultaneously and noticed a man standing quietly at the top of a tree. He was dressed in a long black robe and a bamboo hat. His eyes were shining under the bamboo hat.
It looked ordinary but gave people a strong sense of oppression.
More importantly, a massive black sword hung from his back. The sword's hilt was wrapped in hemp rope, and there were no blades on either side of the sword, which was covered in dense marks.
The sword appeared to have been found in a pile of rubble, but when it was hung on that person's body, it possessed earth-shattering power that could not be underestimated.
Darryl and Lindsey frowned when they saw that person.
A few seconds later, Darryl came to his senses and asked the mysterious man, "Were you talking to us?" He looked at the mysterious man as he spoke.
Darryl could tell the man had a lot of strength because he was several levels higher than the Pure Yang Division's leader.
However, Darryl had never heard of such a person in the world of cultivators.
"Of course!"
