The Ultimate Husband (Darryl and Lily Lyndon) novel Chapter 5294

'What happened?'

Darryl secretly frowned as he noticed Gigi sitting there, paralyzed. Her skin was pale, and her body shuddered incessantly. Her brow was also drenched in sweat.

'Psychotic break?'

Darryl quickly realized something and could not help but laugh.

'Gigi struck with all her strength to kill me. She ended up being injured, and the aura in her body became distorted, causing her to experience a psychotic break.'

Darryl turned around and walked forward, thinking. He sighed as he stood in front of Gigi. He said, "Why did you do that to yourself? You insisted on killing me before looking into the matter. Look at you now. You're going through a psychotic break."

Darryl crouched and said solemnly, "Okay, calm down. I will assist you in regulating your internal energy." If someone else planning to kill him had ended up like that, he would scoff and walk away.

However, Gigi was the Palace Master's final disciple. In addition, she was not a bad person.

"Get lost!" However, Gigi did not appreciate it. When she realized Darryl was about to place his hand on her body, she turned cold and exclaimed, "I don't need your help."

Gigi was on the verge of passing out at the time. 'What the hell! I have not avenged myself, but I am on the verge of a psychotic break. And, now, Darryl is here to mock me.'

Gigi despised Darryl to the core. How could she possibly allow him to assist her?

'Ah?'

Darryl could not decide whether to cry or laugh when he saw Gigi's resentful expression. He laughed and said, "You've ended up like this, and you're still being petty with me? Fine then. Go ahead and regulate that on your own. I'll get going."

Then, Darryl turned around and left. He had no intention of leaving; he was just teasing Gigi.

"You—" Gigi bit her lips tightly and nearly burst into tears when she saw Darryl turn around and leave.

She still harbored resentment toward Darryl, but she refused to let him assist her. However, her physical condition had deteriorated. Her internal energy was raging, and she could not stop it. Her condition would deteriorate if Darryl did not intervene.
