"Go get her!"
The members of the Sea Dragon Palace regained their composure and charged once more toward Heather.
Heather looked worried. The captain was correct when he said she had used up most of her abilities. The Water Channeling Spell had drained her.
She would eventually lose if she kept fighting.
She could not be caught.
Heather bit her lower lip and held her sword out in front of her, ready to defend herself.
Heather's sword glinted in the sunlight as she slashed and hacked at her enemies as they attacked her.
Heather no longer showed mercy to her enemies in order to flee. She went for the kill with every stroke, exhausting her abilities in the process.
In a matter of minutes, dozens of Sea Dragon Palace members were dead on the ground, bathed in their own blood.
Many people gathered around them to watch the fight. They were taken aback when they saw Heather slicing down her opponents like she was cutting through paper.
"That girl is awesome!"
"She's powerful and beautiful. She's just like a goddess! I heard she is Ambrose's girlfriend; does this mean she is the princess of the Sea Mackie Clan?"
"I believe so... The princess of the Sea Mackie Clan is said to be the fairest of them all. Now to actually see her—she is indeed as stunning as the rumors claim."
The men could not take their eyes off Heather as if they had been possessed.
She was stunning and intimidating. They would have no regrets for the rest of their lives if they could marry a woman like that.
Heather bit her lower lip as she heard the compliments from those around her. She was quickly running out of time. More and more members of the Sea Dragon Palace were approaching her.
"Heather!"
She heard a mighty roar. A majestic silhouette was approaching her.
It was Forsythe Peddleman.
When Forsythe heard that, he was taken aback for a moment. He gave a cold smile and said, "It makes no difference what you say. I will seize you regardless."
Forsythe gathered his inner strength and delivered a powerful punch to Heather.
He was so fast that he arrived before Heather could blink.
He had been Archfiend Antigonus' assistant for quite some time, and he had grown more powerful after learning from him.
Heather, sensing Forsythe's speed, knew that she had no time to duck. She could only throw her palms in front of her to block his attack.
The next moment, their hands connected. Heather took a few steps back as she felt the force of his punch on her hands. The energy and blood in her body churned, and she felt as if Forsythe's punch had almost destroyed her powers.
How could Forsythe's strength increase that much after a few days?
Heather turned to face Forsythe at that precise moment. Her expression was filled with shock and fear. Their strength was well matched when she met him a month ago. Forsythe could only catch Heather by poisoning her. He could not get away with an easy win if they fought head-on.
Heather could tell that his strength and power had increased at least twofold.
