Just as Darryl was marveling in shock to himself, Adam's gaze sharpened as he said the words one by one.

"Don't think you can act all high and mighty just because you've got the protection of the Saber Saint. You're nothing."

"I know you're pretty strong, but you're no stronger than the likes of Zacho and Martin. The True Flame Sect dared to take a chance with plotting against you, and we long anticipated your revenge."

As Adam spoke, a strong aura exploded as the air around him caught fire. He raised his hand, sending a blow in Darryl's direction.

Adam had not wanted to show his true powers back then because the other sects were around, but there was no need to keep the act up since Darryl was the only person there.

Seeing Adam explode over, Darryl calmly flashed a smile.

The next second, Darryl stood unmoving as he raised a palm to meet Adam's blow.

The two blows collided, letting off an ear-splitting crash followed by a terrifying wave of internal energy that rolled out into the atmosphere. It was followed by Darryl and Adam's bodies trembling as they stumbled backward a few steps.
