As the words rang through the air, Zacho leaped into mid-air, soaring onto the clearing by the entrance.

Sam followed closely behind.

Huh?

Upon landing in the clearing, both men stopped short. They could clearly sense that someone was in the cave, and it seemed like they were cultivating.

How could someone be cultivating in a place so closed off?

The next second, both men exchanged glances before walking in slowly.

Barely a few steps in, Zacho and Sam stopped short at the sight before them.

All that could be seen was a figure sitting on a large rock inside. His hair fell across his shoulders wildly, and his clothes were a mess as he radiated a powerful aura.

It was Adam.

Upon a few seconds of stunned silence, Sam was the first to respond. He said in a low voice to Zacho, "Master, I heard that the sect master of the True Flame Sect went missing this morning. The True Flame Sect pupils have been searching high and low for him. I can't believe he's here. Let me guess… Was there something huge that happened within the True Flame Sect?"

Zacho shook his head as he whispered, "Let's not speak about other people's affairs."

As he spoke, Zacho cleared his throat as he waved a hand at Adam with a smile. "Master Adam! I can't believe we're bumping into each other again so soon."

To tell the truth, Zacho would not usually pay members of smaller sects much mind. However, seeing as Adam was extremely skilled, and it was agreed upon by all of the wanderers in the world, he thought it was probably best to play nice.

Adam remained sat where he was, unresponsive.

Whew…

Zacho frowned to himself in silent displeasure. How dare Adam act all high and mighty with him? Did Adam really think the True Flame Sect was on the same level as Zacho was?

Sam was even more angered, roaring at Adam angrily, "Hey, my master's talking to you! Why aren't you responding to him? Haven't you got any manners?"
