Prince Auten finished the Soul Locking Spell a few minutes later.
"Hmm…" Rachelle let out a light hum at that point. Her beautiful face was expressionless when she awoke, and her eyes were disoriented.
Rachelle became extremely respectful when she saw Prince Auten and said, "Master."
Rachelle had lost her ability to think after being entirely controlled by the Soul Locking Spell. Her only purpose in life was to obey Prince Auten's orders.
"Master's Soul Integration Method is indeed marvelous," Prince Auten said with a smile.
Then, Prince Auten looked at Rachelle and said, "Don't call me Master. Just call me Sect Master. We mustn't let anyone else know about our relationship, okay?"
"I understand, Sect Master." Rachelle nodded respectfully.
'Hmm…'
Prince Auten nodded and waved his hand in response to her response. "Get ready for the sacrificial ceremony. Don't disturb me if there's nothing special. You may leave now."
As he spoke, he felt light-hearted.
'I would not have to worry about the True Flame Sect with a puppet like Rachelle.'
When Rachelle heard the order, she replied, "Sect Master, I will excuse myself now." Then, she slowly walked out of the secret chamber.
…
Darryl returned to the Pure Yang Division during the sunset. The entire sect was bathed in a golden glow.
"Sect Master…" Sofia was cleaning up the main hall as Darryl entered the Elixir Sector. "You are finally back," she exclaimed when she saw Darryl.
She hurried over and intimately held Darryl's arm as she spoke. "You said you would be gone for two days, but it has now been four. I was concerned that something had happened to you."
As Darryl thought to himself, he chuckled and said, "Got it. Please prepare some food for a banquet. Then ask Saber Saint and Lindsey to come back."
"Okay!" Sofia happily replied and went to prepare.
Soon after, a table was set with delectable food and wine. Darryl sipped his tea while waiting.
"It smells fantastic!" Preston could be heard laughing aloud from outside. Then he marched quickly.
Darryl's presence made Preston happy. "Sect Master, why are we drinking?" he asked. He sounded very respectful. He could not call Darryl his master in front of others, but he admired him deeply.
Darryl laughed. "We haven't drank together since we've met."
He motioned for Preston to take a seat as he spoke.
Preston approached the table, raising his glass of wine. "Sect Master, this toast is to you," he said to Darryl. Then he emptied the glass.
