"Darryl!"
Sofia and Lindsey entered the main hall as they drank.
Lindsey was delighted and dashed toward Darryl. "Darryl, while you were away for the past two days, I studied more than half of the Spirit of the Heavenly Secret's cultivation methods," she said.
"I also discussed a lot of Elixir art with Sofia over the last two days."
Lindsey's face was flushed with pride as she spoke.
Darryl laughed and nodded in approval when he heard that. I was not mistaken about her. This girl is extremely intelligent." Only a few people in the community could grasp half of the cultivation methods in the Spirit of the Heavenly Secret in a matter of days.
Lindsey was overjoyed when she was complimented. Then, she sat down to eat.
Sofia sat down as well, but she did not begin eating. Instead, she turned to Darryl and said, "Sect Master, I heard you said you were leaving?"
'Er…'
Darryl and Preston exchanged uncomfortable glances. He did not want Sofia to know, but she overheard their conversation.
As Darryl thought, he smiled and said, "Yes."
Sofia immediately burst into tears and said solemnly, "Don't abandon me, Sect Master. I will follow you wherever you go."
Sofia considered Darryl to be her closest friend after spending time with him. She could not accept it when she found out Darryl was leaving.
"Darryl." Lindsey put down her chopsticks and gripped Darryl's arm tightly at the same time. "What are your plans? I will be there as well. Please don't leave me."
Lindsey spoke with determination.
Darryl felt helpless in the face of the situation, and he was also hesitant to leave. He patiently consoled them, but Sofia and Lindsey insisted on following him.
That gave Darryl a headache.
Darryl spent more than three hours at the meal and still could not persuade Sofia and Lindsey.
