"Ambrose!"
"Don't worry, Ambrose. We're here!"
Just when Ambrose and Heather were about to be killed by the elites, someone shouted. It was so loud that the clouds trembled. When the elites heard it, they came to a halt and looked up at the sky. Ambrose and Heather were shocked.
They looked over and saw tens of thousands of people approaching them from the mountain. Chester, Dax, Debra, and the others were at the front.
Dax was holding his Sky Breaking Axe and led the way, descending from the sky as if he were a God.
"F*ck!" When he was almost reaching, he looked around and scolded loudly, "So, this is the ability of the Sea Dragon Palace. Using crowd tactics? I'll teach you a lesson with my Sky Breaking Axe."
With that, he raised his hand to swing the Sky Breaking Ax, forming a golden ray to attack the crowd. A loud noise suddenly rang out. Several hundred Sea Dragon Palace elites did not have time to react. They screamed in agony and ended up on the ground in a pool of blood gushing from their bodies.
The remaining elites had fear on their faces as they unconsciously receded backward. 'Is that the power of the Grand Weapon, the Sky Breaking Axe? It is too frightening.'
'Damn…' At the same time, Forsythe's face darkened as he meditated to regain his internal energy. He believed he could easily kill Ambrose that day. Who knew Chester and Dax would appear at the last minute out of nowhere?
Archfiend Antigonus was away dealing with another matter. As a result, he was not present in the Wishing Star Tower. Forsythe and the elites were no match for Chester and his people.
Dax leaped into the air and landed in front of Ambrose to check on his condition. His eyes were immediately filled with rage. Not a single part of Ambrose's body was uninjured. Wounds from the long saber were all over his body.
Nonetheless, Ambrose insisted on protecting Heather from harm. Heather's arms and legs were bound to a pillar. Her beautiful face was pale, and she was crying. Her entire body shook.
His heart was full of Heather, and he loved her to the bone. He had not forgotten Heather was tied to the pillar.
"Easy peasy," Dax said. He swung the Sky Breaking Axe and broke the rope on the pillar. The Sky Breaking Axe was the world's reputable Grand Weapon. No cord could withhold its sharpness.
"Ambrose!" Once Heather had her freedom, she exclaimed sadly and held Ambrose into her arms. Her heart trembled. "How are you? How are you—"
Ambrose smiled weakly, "Sorry, Heather. I failed to protect."
"Don't say that." Heather felt like her heart was about to break into thousands of pieces. Her tears could not stop falling. "This is all my fault. I should not have gotten mad at you. I shouldn't have left you."
Ambrose smiled and tried to say something, but he could not take it any longer. His vision went black, and he passed out.
