"If you don't believe it, just come and try me," Darryl said confidently. There was also a strong aura surrounding his body.
Yes, Darryl took a bet. He knew that those disciples did not dare to attack them. They only did it because they were afraid of Prince Auten and had to do it because Prince Auten instructed them. He gambled that he only needed to bluff and frighten them so they would not dare to attack him and Rachelle even when they dared to try it.
When those disciples sensed Darryl's strong vibes, they looked at each other. Their expressions were terrified, and many of them swallowed their saliva. Darryl's body had no movement of breath; they could tell. However, they all saw how Darryl managed to trap many of their fellow disciples with the pile of rocks.
Darryl did not appear to them to be a powerful individual, but he had many tricks up his sleeve. Who knew what Darryl would do if they pushed him too far? The disciples did not dare to go any further with that thought in their minds.
Darryl had a stone-cold expression when he saw the disciples' fear. However, he was thrilled. 'Those disciples are such cowards. They easily got scared because I bluffed a little.'
Meanwhile, Rachelle bit her lower lip. Her expression when she looked at Darryl was complicated. 'With just a few words, he managed to scare everyone here. Only a few people in the entire world of cultivators are capable of doing so. But does he really have more tricks up his sleeve to combat the disciples?' Rachelle wondered. She wanted to ask Darryl the question but could not because of the situation.
"Kudos to all of you who know it better," Darryl said coldly. Then he turned around and spoke to Rachelle, "Let's go." He held Rachelle's hand and walked to the far side.
Darryl's heart was racing. He lacked authority, and Rachelle was hurt. They could not do anything if the disciples decided to pursue them. However, Darryl used his momentum to scare off those disciples.
Both of them were leaving. Those disciples had complicated expressions on their faces, but no one dared to pursue them.
When Prince Auten saw Darryl and Rachelle fleeing, and none of the disciples intervened, his face darkened. He was so enraged that he nearly passed out. He yelled angrily, "What a bunch of idiots! Stop them!"
Darryl and Rachelle were defenseless, but those people stood there and did nothing. They were simply useless.
Despite hearing Prince Auten's reprimand, those disciples had no intention of obeying his command.
