The female disciples presented a stark contrast, with one appearing arrogant and the other sweet.
Darryl was stunned when he saw the two beautiful women. In the meantime, they also discovered Darryl and walked up to him.
The tall female disciple looked at Darryl when they were near each other and said coldly, "Who are you? This area belongs to Mount Hua Sect. No one is allowed to enter without permission. Leave now."
The tall female disciple's name was Audrey Fraley, and the name of the sweet and gentle disciple was Laurel Briggs. They were new disciples recruited around two years ago. However, Audrey was arrogant, and Laurel was quiet and soft.
"I—" Darryl wanted to explain why he was there. "Miss, please, I didn't trespass here. I'm here to visit your sect master."
He wanted to introduce himself as Darryl, but he was afraid the two female disciples would laugh at him, so he did not do that. He had given it careful consideration. He would only reveal himself to the Sect Master of the Mount Hua Sect.
"Visit the sect master?" Audrey looked at Darryl with disdain. "Do you think my sect master would see anyone who wants to visit him?" She did not reckon Darryl belonged to any major sects based on his dirty look.
'What the f*ck?' Darryl was speechless when Audrey mocked him with disdain. 'Does she think I'm a beggar?'
At that time, Laurel said, "Senior Sister, why don't we bring him back with us? He looked pale and weak. I bet he must be hurt. What if he had something urgent to tell Sect Master?" Then she smiled at Darryl kindly.
"That's not possible." Audrey shook her head and looked in contempt. "Sect Master is with an important guest at the main hall. He won't be happy if he sees us bringing this person back."
Darryl smiled. "If an important guest is with him right now, I can wait for a while. Please bring me back with you."
Audry sighed coldly.
Laurel had a soft heart. Since Darryl was being friendly, she tried to persuade Audrey. "Senior Sister, he doesn't look like a bad guy. Let's bring him back with us. If Master wants to punish us, I will take full responsibility."
"Alright. He is your responsibility then," Audrey said coldly and walked to a small path on the hill.
Laurel quickly followed and smiled at Darryl. "I'm sorry. That's what she's like. I hope you don't mind. Remember, don't simply walk around the area. Okay?"
