"Yes, Lord General!" the divine soldier responded and left the tent.
Zeke had finally figured out what was going on by that point. He stated, "Archfiend Antigonus has discovered the location of the Hidden Hero Sect. It is good news for us because they are fighting each other."
Then Zeke raised his hand and wanted to continue to kill Rachelle.
"Wait!" At that time, Master Magaera had a complicated look on his face. He said, "Spare that woman's life for now. Maybe we could use her against Archfiend Antigonus when we arrive at the Hidden Hero Sect."
He was certain Archfiend Antigonus had helped Rachelle possess Zeke's brothers' divine power, so Rachelle and Archfiend Antigonus must have a close relationship.
Zeke paused for a moment before nodding. "As you said, Lord General."
He reckoned Rachelle was Archfiend Antigonus' partner and had killed his three brothers. He wanted so badly to kill her. Since Master Magaera had spoken, he could only suppress his desire.
After all, Master Magaera was too powerful. He was second in command after His Majesty in the Godly Region. Zeke did not dare to disobey him.
Master Magaera nodded after Zeke had agreed. Then he left the tent. Zeke trailed closely behind, accompanied by Rachelle.
Rachelle felt relieved to be alive for the time being. However, her heart was uneasy, and she had no idea what to expect in the future. Even if she was not dead yet, her fate remained unchanged as long as she was in the hands of Master Magaera and Zeke.
…
On the other hand, events were unfolding in the Hidden Hero Sect. Heather quickly returned to her room after successfully luring Morticia into the secret tunnel at the forbidden area in the mountain.
She was relieved to see the baby still soundly sleeping in the crib. Finally, the witch was trapped. Her emotions became complicated as she gazed at the baby's adorable face. Even though Morticia was a wicked witch, she was still the mother of that child.
When she realized that, she strode over and pressed the bump without hesitation. She was one of the twelve Fiend Martyrs, so she would always act discreetly and cautiously in normal circumstances. It was no longer the same. Her heart desperately wanted to leave the tunnel, but she could not think about the consequences.
Vibration and sounds came from beneath her feet after she pressed the bump. Following that, a hole less than fifty meters in height appeared at a nearby corner. It was another tunnel that was descending.
However, Morticia noticed that the hidden tunnel was different from the other tunnels she had walked. It was lower and more narrow. The slab above it was engraved with many complicated textures.
At that moment, Morticia was stunned, even if she had a strong mind. She did not expect there was another hidden tunnel under that massive secret tunnel. Since she could not exit, she might as well go down and check it out.
She took a deep breath and tried to calm down. Then she bent over and walked into it. After walking for several meters, the narrow tunnel suddenly brightened up. She inhaled deeply when she saw the scene in front of her.
It was a large secret chamber. However, it looked more like a hidden dungeon instead. The dungeon was nearly the size of three basketball courts and was not square. From the layout, it looked like the shape of the eight trigrams. There were fully written words and some simple diagrams on all eight walls.
