The Ultimate Husband (Darryl and Lily Lyndon) novel Chapter 5583

"Ugh…"

Zeke was nothing but annoyed at the baby's crying, saying coldly, "Don't say your goodbyes just yet. You're coming to see Master Magaera with me. Whether you live or die is up to his volition."

As he spoke, Zeke took out a rope to tie the pair up.

Just then, Ambrose and Heather exchanged a glance, their gazes nothing but despaired and hopeless.

Yet at thievery last second, a strong energy came exploding out of the woods nearby. It was followed by a figure moving quick as lightning to land a blow onto Zeke.

His gaze was blazing. It was Prince Auten.

To tell the truth, Prince Auten did not wish to save Ambrose. He was, after all, Darryl's son. Yet Prince Auten was currently disguised as Adam, and could not just expose his identity to Zeke.

After all, if Zeke were to know of Prince Auten's whereabouts, he would be sure to report to the Godly Region.

Also, Prince Auten wanted to use Ambrose to track down Darryl. Thus, he could not just stand and watch Ambrose and Heather be taken away.

Under these circumstances, Prince Auten could only attack Zeke, and rescue AAmbrose.

"Who's that?"

Zeke got a fright from sensing the attack behind him, and turned to look.

Seeing that it was Prince Auten made Zeke stop short, before flaring up in anger. "You…"

F*ck, this man was real cunning. He had not left just now, and instead hid himself in the woods.

At the same time, Ambrose and Heather stopped short as well. They stared at Prince Auten with an unreadable expression full of suspicion.

This man hadn't really left…

The thing is, they didn't know him. Why did he help them?

"You're looking to die."

Prince Auten stumbled a few steps as well, his face paling slightly.

He still had not rebuilt his fairy soul, and was thus still affected by the blow he had cast onto Zeke himself.

"Hey…"

Just then, Ambrose could not help but say to Prince Auten, "You're alright, aren't you?"

Despite Ambrose being completely surprised by this stranger's sudden assistance, the enemy of an enemy was a friend. Seeing as Prince Auten was hurt, he could not help but check on him.

Prince Auten took a deep breath, before forcing out a smile. "I'm quite alright, don't you worry about me. Quick, the two of you should restore your powers."

Ambrose called out, scrambling to sit down cross-legged and tend to his wounds.

This man had helped them out of nowhere, and she was nothing but grateful.

Yet what Ambrose and Heather did not know then was that the man who had just helped them was Darryl's deadly enemy, and he had only helped them for his own benefit.
