A few seconds later, everyone returned to their senses.
Chester set down his glass and replied solemnly, "I knew there was something off about that Sir Au."
Dax was overwhelmed with emotion as he cried out, "F*ck, that Prince Auten sure has some nerve! I can't believe he fooled us."
As he spoke, Dax stood up at once. "That bastard is cultivating in the private room at the back right now. I'm going to have his head."
Dax had a fiery temper, and he could not hold back his fury upon knowing that someone was up to no good.
However, had barely walked a few steps away when Chester stopped him. "Don't be rash, Dax. Let's not call about any alarm since we know his real identity."
Darryl flashed a pained smile as he nodded in agreement. "Brother Chester is right. Prince Auten is a cunning man. Also, his powers might not be fully restored seeing as he's in another person's body, but he has divine power protecting him. You won't be any match for him."
Dax sat heavily back onto his chair. "Well, what should we do?"
Darryl gave it some thought before asking Ambrose, "What did Prince Auten say to you?"
Ambrose replied, "He said that he'd like you to see him in the private room once you return. Father, he's up to something for sure."
"Yes, of course," replied Darryl with a smile.
Just then, Dax could not help it any longer as he piped up, "Well, what are we waiting for then? Let's barge in there and tie him up."
Seeing as Dax was still so hot-headed, Darryl flashed a pained smile as he sighed
"Dax, taking him down won't be a problem if we join forces now, but it won't guarantee us to be free of casualties.
"Also, he told Ambrose previously to have me meet him in the private room. He's sure to have something set up in there. I think we should plan our moves more carefully."
It was only then that Dax held back on his impulsiveness.
A thought came to Chester as he stared at Darryl. "Darryl! Have you thought of a way?"
As he spoke, Chester was unable to hide the solemnness in his expression.
Darryl took a deep breath, pondering briefly before saying with a smile on his face, "It's simple enough. We'll do as he says so we won't waste half as much energy."
