The Ultimate Husband (Darryl and Lily Lyndon) novel Chapter 5720

Darryl motioned with his hand for them not to say anything. Then he took half of the poisonous blood and went to the elixir manufacturing room.

He got right to work when he arrived. He gathered a few supporting materials as well as a cauldron and began making the elixir.

As the fire was lit, a trace of poisonous green mist emerged from the cauldron.

"Oh, f*ck!" Darryl was taken aback. He quickly formed a protective shield with his divine power and completely covered the cauldron. The poison mist was very strong; he could feel it.

The air could not enter the cauldron because the protective shield blocked it.

Bang! Within seconds, the cauldron exploded along with some vibration. The production had failed. Darryl scratched his head and smiled bitterly. 'I bet I'm the first person to produce elixir with poisonous blood.'

As Darryl was thinking, a few disciples heard the explosion and went there to check.

"What happened?"

"What's with the explosion?"

They rushed into the room and were stunned when they saw Darryl. They quickly greeted him.

"Darryl."

"Are you alright?"

Darryl waved his hand to indicate that he was fine. "I am making elixir. It is normal for the cauldron to explode. Go about your business. No one should enter here without my permission."

"Yes, Sir," a disciple responded as they quickly left.

A few days ago, Rachelle attempted to assassinate Prince Auten and caused him to escape. Later, Darryl kept her isolated and only let her out that day. She was walking nearby when she heard a noise in the elixir production room. Thus, she got curious and went there to take a look.

"Darryl?" Darryl's presence in the room left her speechless. Her expression seemed conflicted.

Darryl asked, "How did it go? Have you thought about your actions? Don't act recklessly in the future, or you will make things worse."

Rachelle was unhappy to be lectured. She said, "How was I reckless when I wanted to avenge my senior brother? It's all your fault. If you had killed him instead of just locking him up, he would not have had the chance to escape."

Her anger mounted as she remembered the failed assassination.

Darryl smiled bitterly. "I told you. He is a part of the Royal Family from the Godly Region. I have no right to sentence him—"

Rachelle interrupted him before he could finish his sentence. "Enough of that. Do you know where Prince Auten is?"
