As Elgar's father, Tai understood his son very well.

"Dad!"

Facing his reprimands, Elgar was unimpressed. "Who says I always cause trouble? It's not my fault today. That dude deliberately mocked me. He even hurt me."

The warriors raised their weapons once more when they received orders.

Tai was terrified and immediately yelled.

They were all stunned, whether it was Elgar or the warriors. They did not seem to understand why Tai had such a strong reaction.

Tai rushed forward and slapped his son across the face. He slapped him with all his might. Elgar screamed in agony and spun around. His entire face was swollen.

"Dad!" Elgar was bewildered. He clutched his face and looked at Tai. "Why did you hit me?"

Tai slapped him again as he finished his question. He shouted, "Stop talking! You're a moron! You have been causing me problems all day. Why do I have such a useless piece of garbage for a son?"

That was Darryl Darby, the Queen's honored guest. He was the Raksasa tribe's savior, yet his son wanted to beat him up.

"Dad!"

Elgar was aggrieved at his father's reprimands. He said reluctantly, "He was the one who hit me first. I just want to pay him back. Why is that wrong?"

Elgar had not realized his grave mistake.

Darryl exhaled and said calmly, "It's good that you know your mistakes. Don't bully others in the future."

"Yes, yes…" Elgar nodded profusely.

Darryl could not be bothered by him any longer. He waved and signaled for him to leave.

Elgar did not dare to say a single word. He quickly took the warriors and fled the scene.

"Your Excellency!" Elgar had just left when Tai, looking guilty, bowed at Darryl. "I'm bad at raising children. I'm sorry."

Darryl smiled. "You're too kind. I'm not a petty person. Don't worry about it."

Then, Darryl and Tai exchanged a few words of pleasantries before he left the antique shop with Loona.

"Loona!"

Outside, Darryl smiled and teased her, "That Elgar seems to like you."

Loona's exquisite face instantly blushed. She could not hide her loathing. "Don't mention him. He's annoying."

Then, Loona changed the subject. "Right, Darryl, are you well-versed with antiques?"
