The Unbreakable Bond (Rosalind and Leonardo) novel Chapter 209

Chapter 209
“What? Do you still want to speak for that woman? You saw her attitude towards me just now. How is she worthy of you? How is she worthy of entering the Brooks family? Let me tell you, unless I’m dead, she won’t marry you, and there’s no way around it!”
Maria glared at Rosalind fiercely, and the determination in her eyes was obvious
Watching this scene, Rosalind knew that there was no point in staying any longer. She didn’t even bother to say goodbye to Leonardo and just left directly
“Rosalind, stop!”
Leonardo wanted to catch up, but Maria grabbed him.
“You can’t go! Why are you chasing after such a shameless woman?”
“Mom…
Leonardo felt his hand tightly grasped by Maria, but he dared not forcefully shake her off. He could only helplessly watch as Rosalind calmly and composedly walked away.
At the entrance of the Brooks Group, Rosalind felt a bit downhearted. Although she appeared confident and relaxed when speaking earlier, only Rosalind knew how difficult it was to make this choice.
Rosalind hadn’t even stepped out of the gate yer when she heard a smug voice behind her.
“What’s this? Leaving, so dejectedly? Weren’t you quite proud a moment ago! It’s so pathetic now
Rosalind turned around and saw the mean face of Virginia.
“You’re quite snug, aren’t you?”
Rosalind smird gently
“Oh… Is it so obvious”
Virginia shrugged her shoulders and looked even more proud
Rosalind looked calm and stared at Virginia curiously for a long time before asking. “Even if you manage to break ine and Leonardo apart using Leonardo’s mother, what will you gain? Leonardo will never marry you. What’s there to be proud of?”
On that day, right in front of Rosalind, Leunardo and Virginia had already had a falling out. Even if Virginia had brought Maria into the picture, stirring up conflicts between them. Leonardo would still not fall in love with Virginia, let alone marry her.
Rosalind didn’t know what Virginia was aiming for.
Virginia’s complacent face suddenly froze, and her eyes showed intense hatred,
“Even if I can’t get anything. I just want to make your life with Leonardo nsiserable!”
Virginia’s face turned sinister as she approachedl Virginia, step by step, imposingly said, “Rosalind, do you know how much I hate you? If it weren’t for your interference, I would have been the one by Leonardo’s side that day at the hotel, becoming the wife of the Brooks family’s heir. You destroyed everything I had worked so hard for, occupied my place, and took away the man I loved. What do I want? I want you to never have Leonardo!”
Virginia was arrogant and overbearing.
Rosalind stood there steadily and didn’t move at all, but the surprise in her eyes still betrayed her.
A flash of inspiration came to her mind. What happened back then seemed to be clear all of a sudden, and the truth slowly emerged.
Rosalind said, “You planned everything at the hotel? You go Lennardo drunk and tried to make it look like you’ve made sex And you hired the media to wait outside for expusure, didn’t you?”
L
Rosalizul couldn’t figure it out all these years. Why did sa much media suddenly appear on that day? As soon as the door was opened, they directly rushed in. Now it seemed that it had been arranged by Virginia in advance.
No wonder her father tried to suppress the news but failed. I turned out that the media had long been bribed by Virginia, so they didn’t care about the Jansen family.
Sering that Rosalind had figured out the truth. Virginia didn’t panic but took it for granted.
“So what? Leonardo was my boyfriend. If it weren’t for some accident, we would have been married long ago, and you are the third wheel. You’re a shameless bi tch. If you hadn’t intervened between us, I would have been Leonardi’s wife and the proprietor of the Brooks Group. And you destroyed everything!”
Rosalind narrowed her eyes and felt angry.

Chapter 209
Rosalind felt a surge of anger at Virginia’s words. She had suffered humiliation and insults because of Virginia’s schemes and designs. She couldn’t hold her head up high in the Brooks family because of her. Yet, Rosalind still acted like the victim, which was utterly mand-boggling.
Rosalind laughed; she was infuriated by Virginia’s audacity.
“Huh. I never thought you could twist the truth so much. Since you’re so sure that Leonardo would have married you, then t why did you have to scheme against him? Shouldn’t you be thanking me? Because of your scheming. I had to endure all the insults and contempt that should have been directed at you. Why do you have the audacity to blame me?”
Step by step, Rosalind approached Virginia, and the roles between the two seemed to have completely reversed compared to before. However, Virginia lacked Rosalind’s composure.
With each step Rosalind took, Virginia took a step back, seemingly overwhelmed by Roslind’s aura.
When she realized she was being pushed back by Rosalind, Virginia’s anger flared up.
“Everything between me and Leonardo is none of your business. Leonardo loves me. If it weren’t for your appearance, I would have been his wife. Don’t forget, he confessed his love for me in front of you. Have you forgotten that? I may have plotted against you, but so what? You occupied my position for three years and were rejected by the entire Brooks family. It’s because you’re useless and not destined to be with the Brooks family. Why should I thank you! Thank you for being incapable of keeping a man?”
Virginia knew what would hurt Rosalind the most and targeted her weak points. Even if it was despicable, it seemed to have peculiar effect.
Thinking back to the time when she confessed her feelings to Leonardo, and he declared that he loved Virginia, Rosalind’s world crumbled. That feeling seemed fresh in her memory, and it might be difficult to forget it for the rest of her life.
Seeing that Rosalind’s expression had finally changed, Virginia was a little less angry and became more samig. She approached Rosalind’s car and whispered, “Rosalind, I advise you to leave Leonardo as soon as possible, or I won’t spare you!”
Rosalind sneered. “So what if I leave? Are you hoping to use Maria’s affection for you to make Leonardo marry the woman that his father, Richard, had slept with? If I’m not mistaken, you should be Leonardo’s stepmother, right? Are you a cougar, or did you just lose your mind?
As much as Virginia knew what to say to hurt Rosalind, Rosalind knew what Virginia cared about the most, and she didn’t give Virginia any face.
“You bit ch, what do you know- Virginia became furious and reached out to slap Rosalind, but Rosalind grabbed her hand and retaliated with a slap on Virginia’s face
“This slap is for you scheming against me and causing me to be humiliated and insulted by so many people. I’m giving it back to you
