Melanie had not been to the hospital in the past few days. Henry had called a few times, but he always brought up the topic of Meredith. 

Melanie’s excuse was always that Meredith was sleeping. Even though she knew Henry meant well, he was still a part of the Scott family.

Melanie did not know Henry was still concerned about having Meredith call him ‘Great–grandpa‘. She was on her way to the airport to pick up Xander. 

Xander’s flight to Jepton arrived in the afternoon. They had not seen each other for three months 

since Xander went abroad. 

Meredith liked Xander and wanted to hug him when she saw him. Xander felt helpless, saying, “My clothes are dirty.” 

They went straight back to the villa. Xander had been on the plane for over ten hours and looked exhausted. Melanie did not disturb him. She took Meredith with her and left. 

On the way, she received a call from Yvonne, saying that Timothy’s sentence was to stay in prison for 

three months.
