Shannon was like a small firecracker. She looked like she wanted to fight Theo without even exchanging a word or two.

I hurriedly pulled her back. “This has nothing to do with Delia. The point is there are just some things that Theo and I are unable to reach an agreement on.”

If I had not pulled her back, she probably would really have the guts to go looking for him directly.
