A trace of surprise flickered across my face when I heard the voice. Seeing the ugly contortion of Silas’ face, however, I no longer had the heart to care about it anymore. I wanted to go out and check things out, but his subordinates stopped me at the entrance.

Two people entered the study.

I smiled and waved at them. “Ty! Marius! You’re here!”

“Wandy, are you okay?”

“Sis Wan, are you alright?”

Silas stood before me before I could reply. “Of course, I would take care of my granddaughter. There’s no need for your worry.”

Tyler retracted his worry, his expression cold as he looked at Silas. He put his hands in his pockets, his body exuding an intense arrogance. “That’s not what you said just now, Old Master Yard. You remember what he said, President Klein?”

“That’s right. Old Master Yard, you said just now that Wanda wasn’t here. So how did she appear in your study now?” There was amusement in Marius’ eyes, and the corners of his mouth curled upward as he looked at Silas.

The two younger men did not lose their momentum when they confronted Silas.

“What?” Marius laughed after hearing his words. “If you’re going to say that, old man, then fine. Let us take Sis Wan away and we’ll overlook your crime of abducting her and holding her captive.”
