The moment we got our marriage certificate again, Theo smiled like a child.
He raised the certificate and looked at me in a proud manner. "You're now Madam Grant again."
I looked into his eyes which were filled with joy and felt a sweetness in my heart as well. "Alright. Let's go get the children."
"Alright, let's go."
Theo looked to be in a pleasant mood. We drove to the outskirts to where Drover lived.
After the door was unlocked from the inside, we went in.
We heard Munchkin's happy voice before we even saw him. "Daddy, Mommy! You guys are finally here."
Theo and I did not even see him before we felt someone hugging us the next second. We looked down and saw Munchkin. Reaching out a hand to caress his head, warmth filled my heart.
"Munchkin, how have you been recently?"
"Not good. I missed Daddy and Mommy so much," Munchkin replied immediately as he grabbed my hand, not letting go.
Standing beside me, Theo smiled at Munchkin and said, "We came to bring you guys home. Go pack your things quick."
"Awesome! We're finally going home." Munchkin skipped as he made his way upstairs.
Not far away, Drover walked toward us. "You guys are here."
"Thank you for taking care of the children during this time."
I felt a bit bad for dumping the children at his place for so long.
Drover shook his head. "I'm happy to be of help."
Just then, Marius came over too. He glanced at Theo before turning to me. "You're finally at the end of the tunnel, Sis Wan."
"Not yet. There's still Nibel."
