Green Orange.
Shannon was staring at me with wide eyes. "So, you’re going to work on the Golden-O project first and won't be coming to the company for a while?"
I nodded. "I'm sorry, Shannon. You can sort out the reports and give them to me for the time being. I’ll approve them over there. Don't worry, I found you an excellent assistant.”
Shannon looked at me with anticipation in her eyes. "Who is it?"
“There he is.”
Our eyes turned toward the door together as Marius walked in while slowly waving at Shannon. "It's me. Are you surprised?"
"President Klein, you have your own company, though. Will you be able to spare the time?”
"I—"
I cut Marius off before he could answer, "He doesn't usually go to the company. He has a big heart, so don't worry. He’ll help you with Green Orange. I look forward to the future changes in Green Orange with him onboard.”
Marius' strength was evident, so Shannon held her tongue. "Okay. I’ll be looking to you for advice then, President Klein."
"He’s Green Orange’s shareholder now. I think he’ll set his heart on this. Isn’t that right, President Klein?”
I seldom addressed him by that title, and Marius was instantly rankled when he heard that. He straightened his jacket. "Of course. I’ll ensure Green Orange flourishes even if it’s for you."
I cleared my throat and changed the subject. "In this case, I’ll leave Green Orange to you."
“I’m not going to go against this, but President Klein, please wear a suit next time. Your casual attire will make us look unprofessional.” Shannon looked at him and said with a click of her tongue.
Marius gestured an ‘OK.’ “Understood.”
I was a lot more at ease with Green Orange in his hands. I could now focus on drafting the plans for the Golden-O project.
That night at the villa.
It was already late, yet I was still in front of the computer, making amendments.
