The Woman From Hell novel (Wanda and Theo) novel Chapter 2678

At a cafe near the hospital.

I picked up the coffee in front of me and took a sip. It tasted a little bitter, and I frowned slightly.

Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Keith staring at me. He was obviously confused by my sudden invitation.

Putting down the coffee, I smiled at him. "You probably find this weird, right?"

"Yes, a little." Although he was puzzled, Keith was still calm.

He was, sure enough, one of Theo's own. He would not panic no matter what.

I looked at him, my gaze full of admiration, before I slowly started, "You've been at Theo's side longer than I have. Technically, I shouldn't be asking you this directly since I've also taken you as my own people long ago like Theo. That's why there are some things that make me curious and I can't not ask you about them. I hope you don't mind."

Keith listened to me seriously and frowned almost imperceptibly but quickly relaxed again. "Don't worry, Madam. Does this thing have something to do with me?" he asked.

"Yes, it's about you," I responded frankly.

He smiled lightly. "Okay, Madam. I'll tell you everything."

Tell me everything?

My smile deepened when he said this. I hoped for that.

"Aren't you a little close to Nibel recently?"

Keith probably did not expect me to be this direct given how his expression shifted slightly when he heard this. His gaze fluttered about before slowly returning to me. "Why are you suddenly asking that, Madam?"

"I didn't know about it either at first, but my friend, Shannon, said she saw you and Nibel discussing something when she was out shopping. I also saw you with him again just now. I even bumped into him a few minutes before you."

I said all of this in one breath and had been watching Keith's expression as I did so.
