"A masquerade?"

I told Marius and Shannon about this idea of mine. Seeing how they reacted in unison, I knew they had not been expecting it.

Marius and Shannon looked at each other. "Grant Corporation will be the organizer. Is President Grant willing to allow you this?”

"Theo said it's okay."

That was what he said last night.

Their expressions were one of surprise. Shannon then snickered. "I didn't expect Theo to let you be so calamitous."

"What are you saying? I just think our banquets before were too formal. Besides, it’s only for the staff this time but they can bring their relatives and friends and the like so it’s okay. What do you guys think?”

Marius nodded when he heard what I said. "If President Grant has agreed, then who are we to say anything?”

"Then, as my good friends, shouldn’t you guys support me?" I winked at them.

"How do we do that?”

I smiled. "Help me with action, for example."

"We’ll support you in spirit. There are still plenty of things to do at Green Orange." Shannon and Marius shared a special tacit understanding and turned their heads to the side.

"What is this? I’m only missing some manpower yet you guys won’t help me.”
