Kar was in a daze. Worried too, but mostly in a daze.
The world...was truly a wonderful place. Or was it his adorable baby who was wonderful? Yeah...yeah, that was for sure. Thinking back on how those slender, fair fingers wrapped around him...around his hardened part...and stroking it...
Gods.
Kar was worried. He really, really felt like he wouldn’t be able to control himself if they went all the way. He even asked Byul to restrain his hands that night--just in case. Byul giggled and called it kinky, but he was serious.
He almost ripped the necktie they used to hold his wrists together.
"Hyung?"
Byul’s face hovered above him, waving a cute hand in front of his face. The morning messy curls bounced around, inviting Kar to reach out and brush them aside so he could enjoy the pretty face.
A foolish smile bloomed on his face. "Yeah, baby?"
"What are you thinking about?"
"Hmm..." Kar closed his eyes, pretending to think. "How tasty and cute your penis is?"
"Hyung!" Byul clasped the esper’s mouth, glaring in panic as if someone could hear them in that highly secured penthouse. "You can’t say things like that!"
Kar laughed at the adorable reaction and got up to hug the actor tightly, rubbing his unshaven jaw at the shrieking young man. He leaned his head on the smaller shoulder and sighed. "Haa...what to do, Byul?"
"Huh?"
"I almost lost my mind last night," Kar muttered in lament. "I don’t think this will be safe at all."
Byul recalled how the bed was shaking from the force when Kar yanked his hands reflexively. He even thought he heard a low growl coming from the esper’s throat. All from a mere handjob. Well...a bit of biting and sucking too, but...that should be considered tame, right? Like...foreplay kind of thing?
If that much was enough to rattle Kar, then...yeah, that was rather worrying, honestly.
"Umm..." Byul looked up in contemplation, trying to think of a solution. There was no way he would give up, or they might stuck in waiting forever. Suddenly, he recalled something that his school friends were talking about at one point--about a book or a show or something. "Ah, then--how about we make a safe word?"
"Safeword..." Kar narrowed his eyes, before nodding in agreement. "I see; it’s for you, right?"
"Yeah."
"What should we use?"
Again, Byul looked up and swayed his head as he got to thinking, while Kar was having fun watching the cute act. "Hmm...what do you think will snap you back in case you’re losing it, Hyung?"
"For me?" Kar tilted his head, before frowning as he replied seriously. "I think I’ll snap from whatever situation if I hear you say ’hurt’ or ’help’..."
"Then, let’s use that," Byul nodded.
"Sure, but--" Kar narrowed his eyes and grasped the younger’s face. "You have to promise me that you’ll really use it."
Byul tilted his head, blinking inquisitively.
"Don’t just hold it in if you feel pain or if it’s uncomfortable just because you want to be considerate," Kar reiterated. "Rather, if you want to be considerate, then you have to be honest."
"Okay," Byul nodded again.
"Promise?"
"Promise!" Byul replied with a shout, before leaning forward to kiss the esper briefly. "There! I seal it."
Kar laughed and caught the adorable lips back, reaffirming the ’seal’ for a few seconds more. "But Byul..."
"Yes?"
The blue and amber narrowed. "How do you know about this safe word thing?"
Byul blinked repeatedly, pressing his lips in a clear guilty conscience.
"Well?"
"I..." Byul smiled sheepishly while slowly shifting away from the esper’s lap. "I was just looking at stuff, okay?!"
Kar grabbed the actor back and smacked the round butt softly. "Naughty."
"Ack!"
* * *
For one and other things, they ended up postponing the deed, while enjoying a new way of exploring each other’s body. In a way, it was also building Kar’s resistance so he wouldn’t have to feel like punching himself in the crotch just from seeing Byul’s scandalous skin.
Sometimes, he wondered about his Dad and questioned how that old man could keep his hands from his husband--because Kar was sure he got this side of him from Bassena.
While Kar was enjoying every moment, Byul was roaring in impatience--and one day, he gasped after reading a text from his manager.
"Hyung!"
Immediately, he grabbed the esper beside him, ignoring the screen playing his drama rerun. Kar looked up from the survival book his father wrote in the past. "Mm?"
"I’m going to start shooting in two weeks, so let’s do it," Byul said firmly. "Otherwise, we have to wait until the shoot is over."
Healthy and curious, to be exact.
