They Beg For My Return (Camila Jackson) novel Chapter 110

Chapter 110

Michael froze. His eyes widened in shock as the tangled figures by the secondfloor bedroom window came into focus.

He quickly regained his composure, his brows furrowing deeply. He gently tugged on Harry’s sleeve and tried to reason with him. Harry, calm down. Maybe it’s not what it looks like. There could be some kind of misunderstanding.

But Harry was beyond reasoning. His bloodshot eyes burned with fury as he locked his gaze on the figures upstairs.

His chest heaved violently as he roared, Misunderstanding? Are you blind? Look at them! They’re practically glued together and evenWhat kind of misunderstanding could there possibly be?

With that, he threw his head back and bellowed, Camila, are you so desperate that you can’t survive without a man?

His venomous words echoed through the still night, his eyes blazing with unrestrained anger.

Camila’s body, weakened by the loss of a kidney, couldn’t possibly handle the strain of such intimacy. The thought alone made Harry’s blood boil.

She was doing this on purposedeliberately wrecking her health just to make everyone worry about her,Harry thought. He stared at the figures reflected in the window, seemingly melded into one, and the veins on his forehead throbbed as if they might burst.

Camila, I’m warning you!he shouted. If you keep messing around with Giovani and end up dead in bed, don’t expect me to clean

up your mess. Our family won’t be humiliated because of you.

The bedroom on the second floor was bathed in a soft, warm yellow light, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

Giovani’s hand rested on Camila’s lower back, gentle yet steady.

Camila’s slender frame pressed tightly against Giovani’s broad chest, leaving no space between them. Through the delicate, almost sheer fabric of her nightgown, she could feel the heat radiating from his body. Her heartbeat quickened uncontrollably.

The faint scent of cedarwood mixed with a trace of tobacco lingered around her. That unique fragrance made her head spin, and a soft blush bloomed across her cheeks like a sunset.

Ththank you,” Camila whispered, her voice barely audible, tinged with shyness and unease. She instinctively tried to push Giovani away, but her hands felt weak and powerless, unable to move him even slightly.

Giovani narrowed his eyes, studying Camila in his arms. His gaze seemed to pierce right through her, reading every hidden thought.

Camila’s eyelashes trembled faintly, her warm breath brushing against Giovani’s throat. She remained completely unresponsive to Harry’s furious shouting from downstairs, as though she couldn’t hear it at all.

Slowly, Camila lifted her head, her eyes meeting Giovani’s deep, enigmatic gaze. At that moment, she felt as though she was being pulled into an endless whirlpool. Her heart raced, her cheeks burning.

She suppressed the fluttering in her chest and looked at Giovani’s perfectly shaped lips, stammering, Mr. Campbell, ccould you let me go now?

Giovani noticed her lingering gaze on his lips, his eyes darkening. Instead of releasing her, he tightened his embrace, pulling her even closer.

Camila’s petite figure was completely swallowed by Giovani. Her face pressed against his chest, only her wide, shocked eyes peeking out.

Giovani rested his chin on her shoulder, his striking face inches from her ear. Camila, can you really not hear Harry

shouting downstairs?he murmured. His voice was low and smooth, with a hint of curiosity threading through his words.

For a long moment, Camila remained silent. The room was so quiet that only the sound of their heartbeats could be heard. Finally, Giovani confirmed the truthCamila couldn’t hear. Her ability to communicate with him must have come from her skill in reading lips.

A flicker of shock and anger crossed Giovani’s eyes. He had gone through Camila’s records long ago and was absolutely certain that her hearing had been perfectly fine before she went to prison.

The thought of her being slapped repeatedly in prison made Giovani’s breath hitch. His heart surged with a deep sense of protectiveness and tenderness. He held her tightly, as if trying to pull all her pain into his arms.

Camila felt the strength of Giovani’s embrace, and her heart couldn’t help but stir. She found herself wonderingwas he acting this way because he liked her?

The moment that thought surfaced, a wave of sweet excitement washed over her. But reality instantly crashed down, drowning her fragile hope.

My broken body is no match for Giovani, a golden boy who is untouchable,’ she thought. The blush that had just colored her cheeks faded rapidly, replaced by a deep sense of loneliness and despair.

Giovani lifted his gaze, his eyes locked onto Harry downstairs. In an instant, his expression turned icy, with a hint of provocation glinting in his stare.

Harry met that chilling gaze, his anger boiling over. His hand trembled as he pointed at Giovani, shouting furiously, Campbell, I’m warning youdon’t you dare lay a finger on my sister!

Harry’s rage only seemed to fuel Giovani’s devilmaycare attitude. A wicked smile spread across Giovani’s face, cutting through the light.

Suddenly, Giovani tilted his head, his lips brushing softly against the delicate skin of Camila’s neck.

For a brief moment, time seemed to stand still.

Camila felt a jolt of electricity surge through her body, her heart pounding so hard it felt like it might burst out of her chest. Her hands clenched tightly, and her breathing grew rapid and uneven.

Harry, standing outside the Campbell residence, saw everything crystal clear. Instantly, his eyes widened in rage. He stomped toward the front door and banged on it with all his might.

Open this door, now!he roared. Giovani, you son of a bitch! Get your hands off Camila. Don’t you dare kiss her! Camila, stop pretending you don’t hear me. Giovani’s no good for youhe’ll only make you miserable.

The door to the villa’s living room slowly creaked open, and Keira and Hazel stepped out together.

Harry’s eyes lit up with a glimmer of hope when he saw Hazel. He called out urgently, Hazel, hurry up and let me in. Giovani the bastard is all over Camila, even kissing her! Just waitI’ll teach him a lesson he won’t forget.

Keira and Hazel exchanged a glance, their faces practically glowing with excitement. Without a word, they spun around, closed the door, and raced off to share the good newswith Lindsey.

Well, well, this is wonderful.Lindsey’s face broke into a wide smile.

I always thought Giovani was terrible at romance. Never expected him to make the first move with Camila.

They’re already kissing? Wow, things are moving fast. Good, very good indeed, she thought, her joy evident.
