"It's been a fucking week already, get yourself together bro!!" Emily banged on the door as Yandel refused to come out of his room, he had been sulking for the past week staying up in his room and coming home late for breakfast and dinner and working out over time. It was something everyone knew about Yandel, whenever he was sad or felt down he would leave his apartment in the city and stay at the family house just to sulk, she wasn't about to let him sulk alone. It was hard to see Yandel all worked up over a girl, he was that type of guy, he was always focused on work and didn't let things like relationships and Heartbreaks to let him down, but now she sees that he really likes Araceli.
"Come on bro, for real, this ain't cool," Ethan agreed with Emily who gave him a look telling him that he should shut the fuck up or she was gonna make him regret waking up this morning, but as usual, her dumb twin brother will forever remain the same Dumb Ethan.
"Whatttt??!" Ethan exclaimed, putting his hands on his waist staring at Emily who seemed to have something to say to him just like every other time.
"You seriously gonna go up and down telling him it ain't cool," Emily said, completely ignoring the door they were both facing that led to Yandel's room.
"When Sasha broke up with you, you were a fucking mess, you would always cry the locker room and stalk her around school so don't go around telling people to be cool because you ain't cool," Emily lashed out at him.
"At least he isn't stalking her in a creepish weird way," Emily said, turning back to see that the door was already slightly open and Yandel was peeping at them, specifically at Ethan who wouldn't meet his eyes. He had his light brown almost blond hair tousled over his head falling into his eyes, he still had his black vest on from last night.
"Heyyy,"
"Look who decided to come out of hibernation, I'm sure you must be very hungry, no worries I got you, I did awful lot of pancakes and made some cold cream frosting," Emily said, smiling sweetly at Yandel's rather grumpy looking face that had sleep mark on it.
"Emily, you don't cook," Yandel deadpanned.
"Trueeee,"
"But I had the cook make you your fav, at least be appreciative and not launch attacks on me like that," Emily said walking away from the door down the hallway towards the stairs.
"Hey please can you tell the maids to bring it up here?," Yandel asked, trying his luck with Emily's wrath which she seemed to inherit from her mother.
"No!!!"
"Get your ass down here, It's already noon, we are going to the Trench Arcade and you are coming with us," Emily said in a bossy tone with finality written all over Her tone.
"You are way too bossy for the shortest person in this house," Ethan said, going back to get more pancakes from the kitchen.
"Hey I'm not short, 5'9 isn't short," Emily whined.
"Lol you wish chipmunk," Ethan said, tugging at her cheeks even though they were hollow just like his, he had his hands swapped away with a painful slap.
"Don't fucking touch my face you twimp," Emily growled.
"Hey, No tearing each other apart at my watch," Yandel came down the stairs spotting a black jeans and grey Flannel shirt with black and white crocs, a total opposite from what he wears everyday, which is some boring ass tie on some random dull color undershirt and black or grey blazers.
"Well someone looks a little refreshed, I mean I could spot the eye bags from miles away but that's not important," Emily stood up and went towards him adjusting his hair.
"What is important is that you are going to leave this house and have fun, alot of it," Emily said, smiling evilly at him.
"I don't get why you guys are heading to an Arcade when you guys have a game room size of three living rooms and still want to be out there playing, possibly lower grades," Yandel said, confused.
"Well here's first, You don't exactly allow us into the game room at home because you think we will ruin it or out friends will,"
"Secondly, it's just fun knowing there are other people there trying to have fun and forget school and HEARTBREAK," Emily pointed out the emphasis on heartbreak.
"Very subtle," Ethan commented while stuffing his face with pancakes and frost cream.
"Thank you, I tried my best," Emily replied with sass which earned her an eye roll from Ethan.
"I don't get it, how would you even get heartbroken if you guys didn't even date," Ethan asked, confused , finishing off the pancake crust.
"Just a simple rejection," Yandel said in a low voice.
