“Where are the mother and daughter?”

Matthew sat down and took a sip of his coffee.

“They slept too late last night. 1 asked them to sleep more. Abby won’t go to school today.”

Chelsea nodded. “Yeah, I’m not going!”

The thought of what happened last night made her feel a little guilty

“It’s all my fault. Rosale said she didn’t dare to go home, so I let her stay. I won’t let anyone slay in the future.”
