Molly still wanted to say something, but Sean stopped her. He then shook his head. "It's alright. Let them inside."

Only then did Molly step aside with a dark face to allow them inside.

The two of them stood outside and watched as they headed upstairs after finishing the search of the first floor.

They only came back down the stairs about a quarter of an hour later.

It was obvious that they couldn't find anything.

What was more annoying was that they left without even giving an apology.

"No wonder they're the research base’s dogs. They're so domineering and barbaric."

Molly's voice was as cold as ice.

Seeing how angry she was, Sean wrapped his arm around her shoulders and coaxed her with a gentle voice. "That's just the way they do things. You can just ignore them."

Even though Molly knew it was best to ignore them, she still felt annoyed. She then pursed her lips. "I hope there won’t be a next time."

"Since they couldn't find anything, there definitely won't be a next time," said Sean.

"Okay." Molly nodded and then she seemed to have thought of something. She furrowed her brows and asked worriedly," Will they be able to find the underground medical room?"

If that lab was discovered, then they would be in trouble.

Kara was still in there.

"Don't worry. That's not going to happen." Sean's voice was soft. "That underground lab hadn't been discovered for years. It shouldn't be discovered this time either. Besides, you've seen all the arrangements made at the entrance. The place is well-hidden, they won't find it at all."

"You have a point." Molly breathed a sigh of relief and then said, "Looks like we can't go to the medical room today."

The two of them were planning on investigating the Venomous Insects that day.

"We still have plenty of time." Sean patted Molly gently on the head and smiled. "It's rare that we have such free time. Spending time together alone doesn't sound bad at all."

After hearing those words, Molly smiled as well. "Not bad indeed. Then let's go and enjoy our alone time."

She then cocked her brows at Sean and then dragged him upstairs.
