The wind was as cool as water at night. Molly and Benjamin were walking away from the banquet, and the noise gradually faded.

“What did she say to you, and who was she? Why do I have the impression that you two aren’t getting along?” Benjamin inquired. Molly did not take Abigail seriously, and when Benjamin inquired, she simply informed him casually.
