Chapter 641
"But, I can honestly tell you that I like someone else. It's just that I can't tell my family for now. I'm not interested in you, okay? when my grandfather knows that we're not right for each other, I'll leave after two months and you won't even need to tell me to leave."
She believed that Sean would not go against Mr. Anderson Sr. and asked her to leave after she said that.
The coldness on Sean's face faded away after hearing Joelle's explanation. But, he still sounded a little unhappy as he shouted toward the outside of his office.
"Tony."
"Boss, you called me?" Tony asked as he stuck half of his body into the office.
He saw Ms. Herring the last time Sean brought him to meet Mr. Herring Sr.
Sean did not speak.
But, Joelle said something.
Joelle politely and gently asked Tony who was outside, "Can you bring me to my seat?"
She was not bossy, she did not abuse her privilege to order the people in her service.
Tony heard what she said as he stayed outside the office. He glanced at his boss secretly. He then looked at Joelle after he saw that Sean did not reject it.
"Please come with me, Ms. Herring."
The secretary of the CEO's desk would definitely not be too far away from the CEO's office.
The number of secretaries was fixed. So, there would not be an extra working desk for Joelle. Tony asked someone to clear the small cubicle beside Sean's office.
"For these two months, you can work here. Is it okay?" He was concerned about Joelle's status. After all, she used her connection to land this job. Tony asked that after he arranged the room for her.
Joelle did not show that she was unhappy. She smiled as she said, " Of course I'm okay with it. Thank you for your help. How should I address you?"
"You can call me Tony." Joelle's attitude was great. She was very friendly too. Tony was not against working with her.
"I look forward to working with you for the next two months," Joelle said.
The job of a secretary was not complicated. Joelle had a good personality, she was acquainted with the other CEO's secretaries in just one morning.
She handled the relationship between her and her colleagues well. And, she was good at her work too.
After all, she was Mr. Herring Sr.'s granddaughter. Everyone in the Herring family was optimistic about her too. she was a fast learner at work. She did not procrastinate when she was handling the paperwork that Tony asked her to do. And, She completed it very well.
Initially, Tony looked at the Herring family's heiress differently.
It was until she offered to help him with his work.
