Alex guessed that was what happened, so he did not tell anyone, including Ben and Claudia about what he saw that night.

Molly did not know what Alex was thinking as she held his hand and said with a smile,

He glanced at his sister's progress and sighed before crawling to the puzzle pieces. "Let me have a look."

Ben was no worse than Alex as he connected piece after piece. He hardly paused and just kept going.

He was going to complete it soon!

The little guy's eyes glittered with excitement as he was about to be the first one to complete it.

"I found it. This piece is supposed to be here." There were two identical pieces on Alex's hand as he passed one of them to Claudia. Then, he helped her place the other one down.

However, Molly looked like she was frozen, and she was not making any progress at all. she had a piece of the puzzle in her hand for some time, but her mind had already wandered far away.

She thought about when they played chess in the living room.

She was playing with Sean while the triplets made bets among themselves. Sean was worried that she would be embarrassed after losing, so he kept letting her win.

Her memories were like water flooding into her head.

The more she tried to forget, the more it stuck to her.
