Chapter 652
However, Molly forgot that Sean was still holding her hand. As soon as she moved, Sean pulled her back to him.
Molly was not prepared. After letting out a short yelp, she found herself sitting on Sean’s lap.
"The things you said... Are they true?" Sean did not hold her hand anymore. Instead, he was holding her waist as he wrapped her in his arms.
Being at such a close distance, both of them could smell each other's scent with every breath. Molly was getting dizzy as Sean's cool woody scent lingered in her nose.
"Y-Yes." She did not know what she was saying anymore. But, she was clear that her heart was beating for this man.
Under Sean's gaze, Molly had almost lost all her rationality, she felt her body warming up, just like her face. All she wanted to do was hide.
As expected, her voice was as soft as a mouse when she spoke.
"Let go of me..." Molly did not sound cold anymore. Additionally, she even talked like she was reluctant.
She sounded so beautiful that Sean wanted to devour her.
Sean gulped as he breathed harder. He stared deeper into Molly as if he had seen through all of her thoughts.
He steadily said, "I'm not letting go."
Molly bit her lips as she batted her eyes, not saying a word.
All she could think of was one thing.
'It's getting really hot...'
Sean could tell that Molly was all over the place, so he pulled her tighter into his arms in hopes of pulling her back to her senses.
Then, he said in a serious tone, "We both know very well about the things that are going on between US. Besides, I don’t care about your history or your past marriages."
Molly's eyes widened as she stared at him and her heart stopped beating as fast and uncontrollably as before.
But, every beat of her heart pounded hard against her chest.
It was beating strongly.
"As long as I want you, nothing else matters," Sean continued without pausing.
"Because I like you."
Something seemed to have shattered in Molly's ears.
At the very next second, she felt a huge surge of warmth spreading throughout her body.
It was a feeling that she had never felt before.
"I wanted to wait until the day I stand again to tell you this, but it seems like I can't wait for that day any longer now." Sean smiled and his deep dark eyes sparkled, looking ever so enticing.
'Did he plan this for a long time...?
'For how long?'
Molly moved her lips as her heart pounded. She had never expected to be in this situation with Sean.
