Triplets on Secret Mission novel Chapter 712

Chapter 712

Lara calmed herself down when she thought about this and sat down on the couch. "Molly, please don't be angry at me for disturbing you. I'm here to ask about you and Sean, what's going on between you two?" she asked slowly.

Molly was immediately confused when she heard Lara.

'Why is she concerned about Sean and me all of a sudden?'

"Why do you ask?" Molly asked with a frown.

Lara did not want to hide the truth from Molly, so she told her the whole story of Alice's visit earlier that day.

Molly's expression changed as she listened to Lara.

She did not expect that Alice would go to the May family!

Alice was thinking of ways to split up her and Sean.

"But, rest assured, Molly. I didn't accept her request! You're my daughter, and I respect your decisions. No matter who you want to be with, I will never stop you as long as you're happy. I wouldn't want my daughter to suffer," Lara consoled her with a smile.

It was as if Lara was saying, "As long as mom is here, you don't have to be afraid of anything!"

Molly was slightly shocked as Lara's attitude toward her had changed too quickly.

It was so fast that she doubted the authenticity of it.

But, Molly still politely responded, "Thank you.

"But, I can take care of my matters myself, so you don't have to worry about it at all!" she added.

Needless to say, Molly still rejected Lara's kindness.

Lara was shocked, she thought Molly would be moved as she had already talked to her in such a humble manner.

However, things did not go as expected.

She was disappointed, but she could not do anything about it.

After all, she had hurt Molly too deeply in the past.

It would not be easy for her to get Molly's forgiveness.

Lara did not want to ask for more, so she stood up when she saw that it was getting late. "Molly, your dad and I are going to make a move now. Take care of yourself. It's getting cold now, so don't catch a cold."

Then, she turned to Grandpa Dave and nodded. "We're leaving now, dad."

"Sure, goodbye," Grandpa Dave said in a deep voice.

Lara and Walter then left the house, hand in hand.

After they left, Grandpa Dave looked at Molly and asked, "Molly, you've seen the way your parents treat you now. What do you think?"

"Nothing much," Molly answered without hesitation.

"Don't you think that your parents have changed a lot?" Grandpa Dave asked.

Even he could tell that Walter and Lara were sincere and wanted to patch things up with Molly.

Sadly, his granddaughter rejected it. "Yeah, they did. But, so what?

"If every 'sorry' in the world can be exchanged with an 'It's okay', there wouldn't be this many grudges in the world."
