"Yup, maybe at least half a month or so. My mentor, Dr. Scott, from abroad, is starting a new research project, and he’s facing a manpower shortage. He personally called me to invite me there, so I can't help myself but go," Molly explained.

"I see. So that's why,” said Brycen.

Brycen understood what Molly meant. He nodded solemnly, "In the years you were abroad, your mentor did help you a lot. Since he needs your help now, you should go help him. I support your decision! Girls like you should concentrate on their careers, not just think about love all day long."

That was an intended statement.

Molly secretly glanced at Sean, and a smile appeared on her face.

Sean silently took a bite of the food, and he did not refute Brycen's words. However, Sean felt regretful in his heart. If Sean knew Brycen had said that, Sean would not be allowed Brycen to stay and have a meal together.

In the afternoon, Molly told Grandpa Dave she was going abroad. After Grandpa Dave heard Molly's explanation, he nodded and said, "Okay, go ahead. Remember to keep your luggage with you and arrange for two bodyguards with you. Don't let anything happen to yourself, and take care."

"Yes, Grandpa. I will." Molly nodded with a smile. After that, she returned to her room and started packing her luggage.

Molly arrived at the airport in the evening and was ready to depart.

The vast airport hall was filled with lots of passengers in the evening.

After Molly had retrieved her boarding pass, she pulled her luggage and waited aside until it was time to board the plane.

Molly looked back and saw no one else besides Sean and Tony. She suddenly felt slightly upset and muttered, "If I had known, I wouldn't have stopped the children from coming to see me off."

Before Molly headed out, the three little ones had been bugging her to send her off. However, she did not want the children to watch her leave

and cry on the spot. So, she decided not to let them come and sent her off.

Even so, Molly felt a little sad when she did not see the three little ones standing behind her.

"After you land, remember to take good care of yourself. Give me a call every day to let me know that you're okay. I'll be waiting for your call at any time." Sean pulled Molly's hand at this time and reluctantly urged her.

Molly also shook Sean's hand and softly muttered, "You are so busy every day. Wouldn't I be disturbing you if I called?"

"There's nothing in the world more important than you, Molly," said Sean.

Sean did not hesitate at all when he said that. He smiled gently at Molly and added, "I'll have the bodyguards accompany you on the plane in a while. I'll be more at ease knowing they are by your side."

"Easy for you to say. Did you think it through? You allowed some big men to follow me around. For other people, they might think I'm a female mafia boss," said Molly.
