Triplets on Secret Mission novel Chapter 766

Chapter 766

There were various art objects in the exhibition. Some of them were unearthed cultural relics, and some of them were masterpieces of artists who died. They were also ancient pianos, advanced robots, etc.

Suddenly, Sean raised his hand, asking Molly to stop as he shifted his gaze to a vintage vase.

'Wow. This vase is so beautiful."

Molly glanced over, and the exquisite pattern on the vase caught her attention. She was amazed. "A vase like this has got to cost at least a few hundred thousand, right?"

"Few hundred thousand? You've got to be kidding me!"

A manager who was in charge of introducing the artworks to the guests appeared and said to Molly politely, "This vase is a relic from 618 to 906 A.D. It was found in an emperor's grave, and it's worth way more than that. You'll need to pay a lot more if you want to take it home.

'We'll be having an auction tonight, and the starting bid for this vase will be three million dollars!"

'Three million?"

Molly was shocked by the figure. Then, she asked Sean curiously, "Is this vase really worth that much?"

Sean nodded without saying anything. Indeed, that vase was an extremely valuable piece. Otherwise, he would not have stopped in front of it.

'I want to buy it for my grandpa. What do you think?' Sean turned around and asked Molly.

Molly looked at the delicate vase from top to bottom again, and she strongly supported Sean's decision. "I don't see why not. Old people usually like antiques like this, right? I'm pretty sure your grandpa will love this vase."

Then, Sean nodded and said, "Okay then. Come with me to the auction today."

"Sure!"

After that, Sean brought Molly to attend the auction at night.

Molly and Sean kept quiet and watched the others compete while other artworks were getting auctioned.

However, Sean raised the bid immediately when that vase was brought out. "Four million."

'Four million?'

'Is a vase worth this much?'

The bidders who sat around Sean all looked at him. Sean sat there composedly, and his elegant temperament convinced them that the vase he had his eyes on must be very valuable.

Then, somebody raised the bid. "Four and a half million!"

"Woah." The crowd was impressed.

It was indeed a little absurd to buy just a vase forthat price!

However, what Sean said next made everybody's jaws drop. "Six million."

"Six million. Does anyone want to go higher than that? If that's the case, six million going once, six million going twice..."

"Seven million!" Somebody shouted.

Then, Sean's voice overpowered that person immediately. "Ten million."
