Chapter 830
His eyes were filled with guilt as he stared at Molly. He felt terrible as he said, 'Molly, can you talk to me, please? Even if you blame me, hate me, or scold me. It's fine..."
But, no matter how Sean persuaded her, Molly did not give him any response.
Molly just felt like her brain was shut down. Her mind was empty, and she was stunned.
After a short pause, Sean stretched his hands again to try to hug her and comfort her when he saw that she remained silent.
But, Molly suddenly bounced like a frightened little puppy. She took a step back, and her face was pale. She stiffly declined, "G-Give me some time to think about this!
"It's late. I should go back to my room and rest. The guest room is ready. You can stay there tonight."
She then hurriedly turned around and went into her room. She locked the door as if she was hiding from something.
Sean's heart ached when he saw her close the door decisively. But of course, he felt guilty, ashamed, and bad for Molly.
He also knew that the matter regarding the kids was the wedge that Molly and him must overcome.
Since he decided to tell the truth today, he would not give up easily.
No matter how Molly would treat him from today onwards, whether she would resent him or hate him, he was already prepared for it. He would continue to stay by her side, patiently make her happy, take care of her, accompany her, and make it up to her.
He would spend the rest of his life pampering her until she forgave him.
Molly stood with her back against the door after she went into her room. She firmly put her hands on her chest as if she could not breathe.
'Why? Why is this happening to me?
'How could Sean be the man who got me pregnant before marriage back then?'
She once hated that man so much!
It was that man who caused her to be pregnant before marriage. And because of him, her reputation was so bad that she was kicked out of the May family.
She suffered terribly for the years she lived overseas!
In her memory, there was a dark period of time when she felt like she was living in hell almost every day. Her mental state was so bad that she even suffered from depression. She did not dare to make contact or get in touch with anyone.
Whenever she closed her eyes during the day or at night, she would hear those overwhelming abusive voices.
The various insulting words, the condemnation, and the opprobrium she had on herself caused her to be in a great deal of pain!
Her condition slowly and gradually went back to normal when the babies progressively formed in her womb.
Luckily her grandfather was there to encourage, support, and be with her. Otherwise, she would have most probably decided to take her own life when she was in her worst state of mind...
Fortunately, after the triplets were born, she slowly got herself together.
