Chapter 864
"Haha..."
Russell laughed immediately.
Molly and the others laughed with him too.
'I knew it. Brycen was never good at cooking. So, I really did overestimate him.'
But, Brycen was not angry. He proudly grunted, "Maybe because I was born to enjoy. I'm not cut out to do this kind of menial work. I was born to live a good life. There's nothing I can do about that!"
"Really?"
Mr. May Sr. was sitting at the side. When he saw his grandson was being so proud, he ruthlessly said in an instant, "You'll do the dishes later."
Brycen was halfway through his meal. He did not feel good anymore." Grandpa, don't do this to me..."
Everyone laughed. The atmosphere was extremely lively.
Although it was lively, the triplets thought of Sean.
'I wonder what's daddy eating tonight. He's alone at home. Will he feel lonely?'
Claudia was a little upset as she thought about that. She whispered, "I wonder if daddy had his dinner."
"It's so lively here. But, daddy is all alone. I feel so sorry for him," Ben sighed.
Mr. May Sr. glanced at the kids. He thought for an instant. He suddenly said, "Speaking of which, the Anderson family's chef took a few days' leaves to go home. He mentioned that his son was sick. He wasn't sure when can he come back."
"What if he hasn't come back? Does that mean that Sean has nothing to eat tonight?" Sawyer asked.
"I guess so.' Mr. May Sr. nodded. He did not speak further.
Brycen was confused when he heard that. He thought to himself, 'The chef next door took leave days? But I clearly saw him this afternoon! Did I make a mistake?'
Brycen did not bother to ponder. He said in an airy manner, "What's the big deal? Sean is an adult. Wouldn’t he order take-outs?"
"How can that be fine? Take-outs are so unwholesome."
Caitlyn faintly glanced at Brycen. She then said, "Sean is sick. It isn't good for his health if he always eats unhealthy food!"
"Yeah." The triplets were even more upset.
"Well, in that case, I feel bad for him tonight."
Sawyer lamented slightly. But, he was secretly looking at Molly.
He wanted to see his sister's reaction.
Actually, Sawyer thought that Molly and Sean were made for each other. He hoped that they could reconcile their relationship as soon as possible.
But, it seemed like Molly did not intend to do that. So, he just kept quiet about it.
After all, he just wanted his sister to be happy.
Molly frowned. She clearly heard everything that everyone said.
She felt sorry for Sean when she thought of him working alone in his reading room with an empty stomach.
Immediately after that, she could not help but ask, "Russell, get me a plate, please."
"Sure." Russell went to get it without delay.
