Turning Of The Tide (Natalie and Trevon) novel Chapter 624

It was almost time to get off work.

Stella had already changed and came to Leia's office door. She knocked a few times and only pushed open the door when the leader inside said she could enter.

she was taught by Leia to be a well-behaved person.

"Ms. March, aren't you getting off work?"

Leia did not even raise her head. She was reading the document attentively. Then, she lowered her head and wrote something on the form. "Yes, you can get off work after completing today's mission."

Almost everyone in the company had finished their work, and Leia was always the latest.

Speaking of which, it was strange. After coming to Yamin Group for so long, Stella had never seen Leia come to work, let alone get off work.

Stella, who had always adhered to the principle of getting off work on time, would not work overtime if she didn't have to. This was the opposite of Chris.

For Chris, doing other things was not as practical as performing surgeries and researching cases. Almost everything else was a waste of time and was unnecessary.

Chris once had said these words to Stella. At that time, Stella said, "Chris, don't you think that eating, drinking, shitting, and sleeping are a waste of time? Why don't you study how people can do it without eating, drinking, shitting, and sleeping? If you succeed in your research, you will create something in the path of medicine that has never been done before or since. Good luck. I believe in you."

Chris retorted like this back then, "What I want to accomplish now is figure out how to replace your brain."

Stella glanced at Leia, who was working with her head lowered. "Then I'll leave first. Bye-bye, Ms. March."

"Yeah." Just as Stella placed a hand on the glass door, Leia's voice came from behind her. "Oh, right. Recruit three salespeople. And you're their leader."

Hearing this, Stella turned around and pointed at her face with her index finger, thinking she had misheard. "Me?"

Hearing her loud voice, Leia looked up and met her gaze. She asked, "Or what? Me?"

Realizing that the leader, the person her sister sent to deal with her, was not joking, she quickly changed her tone. "Me, it must be me. It has to be me. You've arranged it very well."

Leia held back her laughter and said calmly, "Go out."

"Alright, goodbye. Ms. March, take care." Stella closed the door obsequiously.

When she walked out of the door, she bumped into Mona, who had just entered. She greeted her warmly, "Hi, hello. Mona, why aren't you off work yet? Are you working overtime, too?"

Mona was wearing a black suit. Her lips curved slightly. "Yes, I'll tell Ms. March. Ms..."

Before she could say the word "Yamin," she was stopped by the carefree Stella. "Call me Stella. Why do you keep calling me Ms. Yamin? It sounds like we're not close enough."

Mona was speechless.

Stella looked around and covered one side of her face with one hand. She quietly lowered her voice and asked, "Mona, where exactly does Ms. March live?"

Mona replied extremely seriously, "I don't know. I've never been to Ms. March's house."

Stella didn't believe it. "You're spouting nonsense. I'm not telling anyone. Why are you acting like a spy in a spy movie?"

'Is there a need to be so secretive? Even if she is the imperial envoy, she won't be murdered if she lets others know where she lives,' Stella thought.

Seeing that Mona was tight-lipped and she could not get anything out of her, Stella did not intend to waste any more time. "Bye-bye. Best of luck. Get off work early."

Mona nodded and said calmly, "Goodbye."

When she got into the car downstairs, Stella opened the door and got in. She saw a gift box in the back seat and raised her hand to knock her head. "Damn, I forgot the gift for Ava. What a memory."

After saying that, she took out the shiny phone decorated by herself from her bag and took out Ava's business card. She started the car with one hand and sent a voice message with the other. "Ava, calling Ava. Are you there?"

After sending the message, the car was already running normally. Stella held the steering wheel with one hand. The car slowly drove forward. She raised her phone with the other hand, and the phone rang.

She clicked on it with her thumb and realized Ava had also replied with a voice message. Her soft voice echoed in the car. "I'm here. You just got off work at this time, right? Is it convenient for you to listen if I send you a voice message?"

'It is more than convenient,' Stella thought.

Stella felt that Frank had picked up a treasure. Ava's voice was so soft and gentle that it could make one's ears pregnant. "I bought little gifts for the babies on a business trip a few days ago. I forgot to give them to you. I only brought two this time because time is limited. You can't tell them. I'll make it up to them next time I go on a business trip."

After becoming a person often on business trips, Stella would bring the children souvenirs occasionally. A few days ago, she bought two items suitable for Ava's children because she didn't have enough time to go shopping on a business trip.

Ava smiled. "Alright, shall I come and get it?"

Stella held the phone and said into the microphone at the bottom of the phone, "No need. I'll send it over to you. Are you at home tomorrow?"

"Yes, yes. Just come."
