Turning Of The Tide (Natalie and Trevon) novel Chapter 646

Angie kept her word and really didn't look for Leia. Instead, she sent food to Leia every day. In the beginning, she asked her daughter to send it, but in the end, she stopped asking her daughter and asked her son to send it over instead.

When Leia was working overtime, Angie asked her son to send dinner to the company. She even instructed Charlie to act normal and not give her future daughter-in-law too much pressure.

Since the entire family knew that they were in a relationship, Chris and Leia did not have to deliberately take a detour to change cars. On this day, Leia wanted to send Chris to work. As soon as she opened her eyes, she sent a message to Chris, saying that she would send him. Chris was happy, of course. He agreed excitedly and also wanted to experience the feeling of being sent to work by his girlfriend.

He waited downstairs early in the morning.

Seeing that his son had no intention of going out, Angie, who was sitting on the sofa, asked casually, "Aren't you going to work?"

What Angie meant was, 'Don't you have to send your girlfriend to work today?'

Chris replied smugly, "Leia is sending me to work."

Since it was a sweet thing that couples did, Angie didn't say anything. Sitting on the sofa calmly, she turned on the television, but she wasn't paying attention to the television at all. She would occasionally glance outside. The glass was wiped very clean by the servants, so she could see the scene outside at a glance.

After a while, Chris straightened his clothes and walked out the door. "Goodbye, Mom. I'm going to work."

"Okay, have a good day."

Angie sat on the sofa and craned her neck. She saw a blue sports car parked outside but could not see what brand it was. She only saw the body of the car. It was very nice.

The servant also saw it. "Madam, Ms. March's car is so beautiful. She must be beautiful too."

Angie was happy. She loved compliments. "You're good at talking. I'll increase your salary by 50% this month."

The servant who was given a raise was overjoyed. The other servants also wanted to speak, but Angie stopped them. "There's no need to say anything else. It's fine as long as you guys know. I know that my daughter-in-law is beautiful. Alright, go do your work. Wipe the glass clean."

The blue Mustang had already driven a distance away from the Yamins' Villa. A car had been following their car. At the traffic light, Leia looked in the rearview mirror and turned to ask, "Chris, is the car behind us your friend's car?"

The car window was open. Chris turned around and saw the car behind him. The window rolled down, revealing Edward's face. When Edward saw Chris, he was also stunned at first. Then, he only nodded slightly. He was not a gossipy person, but Rose liked to gossip. He planned to share it with Rose when he got off work.

Chris didn't know Edward's thoughts and was glad that Rose wasn't in the car. He simply greeted him, "Good morning. What a coincidence."

Edward nodded. "Yes."

The light turned green. One of them turned to the left, and the other went straight. They parted ways.

After a while, Chris received a text message. It was from Trevon. It said, [Do you have a sugar mommy now?]

Chris gripped his phone tightly and subconsciously poked his head out to look for Trevon's car. He looked around but did not see it.

A few seconds later, a horn sounded from behind them. Trevon pressed it three times in a row. This action could be considered as telling Chris that he was behind him.

Chris sat back in his seat speechlessly. It was not easy for him to fall in love. He could even bump into Trevon in such a huge city like Athana. His girlfriend decided to send him to work on a whim, but unexpectedly, Trevon the idiot saw it.

When did this guy see it? He only saw Edward's car just now. Chris tried his best to recall.

Leia looked at Chris in a daze. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing. I just saw a dumbass."

As soon as he finished speaking, Leia didn't ask any more questions. She automatically thought that Chris had seen someone familiar. She drove seriously ahead toward Yamin Hospital.

Chris took out his phone and replied, [You're the only one who has a sugar mommy. I'm in a normal relationship.]

Trevon replied, [What did you say earlier? Regret it now?]

Chris texted, [You're no less different than me. You've regretted what you said many times.]

Trevon responded, [I think love is better than surgery.]

Looking at the reply, Chris' head hurt. In the future, he would definitely pray before he went out so that he could avoid idiots such as Frank and Trevon.

A number of days passed.

That night, Leia worked overtime until midnight because of a collaborative project. Chris rushed to the company to accompany her after performing his surgery. By the time the two of them came out of the office building, it was already two in the morning.

Leia was very touched. The wind was a little cold. Chris hugged her and walked out. "If you work overtime, send me a message. I'll look for you when I'm done."

Leia said, "If you have surgery the next day, you don't have to come over. It's not safe for you to operate if you don't get enough sleep. We have to be responsible for the patient."

Chris chuckled, thinking that she was kind and understanding. "Leia, thank you for your understanding. I'll spend more time with you. Don't worry. I don't have to perform any surgery tomorrow morning."

"Okay."

Half an hour later, the car arrived at the neighborhood. After Leia and Chris kissed each other goodbye in the car, Chris drove back to his house and parked the car in the garage.

When he opened the door, he found that the door was locked. He tried a few more times, but it still did not open. The password was also wrong.

Chris was speechless. He didn't do anything wrong recently. Why was he chased out of the house?

He reached into his pocket and took out his phone to call his sister, mother, and father. He only heard a female robotic voice. No one picked up his calls.

Chris sent a few messages, but there was no reply either. His message was like a stone sinking into the sea. Sleeping in the car would be suffocating. Chris turned around and walked toward Leia's house. He stood at the door and knocked hesitantly.

Leia did not go upstairs yet. She had gone to the kitchen to get a glass of water. At this moment, she held a glass of water and looked at the display screen. She saw that Chris had returned and was standing at the door.

One stood inside the door while the other stood outside. Leia asked, "What's wrong? Did you leave something behind?"

Chris scratched his neck awkwardly. "No, I think I was chased out of the house. I can't get in."

Leia was surprised. "Ah, Mrs. Yamin locked the door? Don't you know the password?"

Chris said, "Maybe she thought that I wouldn't be coming home after performing surgery tonight, and the password lock seems to be broken, so we can only open the door with the key."

This excuse was a little far-fetched. Chris smiled awkwardly. Leia seemed to have guessed something but didn't expose him. Recently, Angie did not express her enthusiasm as Christina had said. Angie only sent Leia food.

She turned sideways to let Chris in. "Come in."

This was the first time the gentlemanly Chris had entered Leia's villa ever since they started dating. Leia bent down and gave him a pair of home slippers. "You can wear this."

Chris looked down and saw that it was a man's. Seeing that he did not move, Leia explained with a smile, "There's no need to doubt it. I bought it for you. When I went to the supermarket, I bought a few pairs. I keep them in the shoe cabinet."

Compared to Chris, Leia seemed to have expected this day. She and Chris kissed and hugged in the car. Sometimes, they almost went to fourth base, but she always held back.
