Turning Of The Tide (Natalie and Trevon) novel Chapter 666

After washing up, Jasper went downstairs to eat breakfast.

As for Natalie, she turned around and went to her room. Seeing that Trevon was still asleep, she tiptoed out, gently closed the door again, and went downstairs.

Olivia and Sophia had already finished their breakfast. They sat leisurely on the sofa and scrolled through their phones, leaning their heads against each other as they chatted about something.

Caleb and Rachel were eating in the dining room. When they saw their grandson coming down, the two of them quickly put down their bowls and utensils and walked to his side. They asked worriedly, "Jasper, how are you feeling?"

Caleb carefully observed his grandson's expression and waited for an answer. He frowned slightly.

Originally, Natalie and Trevon were prepared to keep this matter a secret from their parents-in-law. However, things did not go as planned. Rachel, who had always gone to bed early, suddenly came down to get water last night and bumped into them.

Under Rachel's repeated questioning, Natalie briefly told her mother-in-law what had happened.

Seeing that his grandparents were so nervous that they didn't even want to eat breakfast, Jasper reached out to support them and brought them to the dining room. "I'm much better now. Don't worry."

Caleb nodded. He knew that his grandson had made it seem less serious as he did not want them to worry, so he did not probe further. "That's good. Stay at home and recuperate well. Don't go out for the time being. There's no hurry to go back to work at the company."

Rachel agreed. Her eyes were still filled with worry. She glanced at her grandson from top to bottom. "Yes, your grandfather is right. There's no hurry."

Jasper replied, "Yes, I've been staying at home recently. I don't go out."

He would not go back on his word.

Seeing that their grandson agreed, the two elders were relieved. Even Mary was so worried that she did not sleep the entire night. Gage also woke up several times in the night, and it was Natalie who comforted them to go to sleep.

Just as they were talking, Sophia suddenly spoke, "Eh, where's my dear Mary?"

Natalie came down early in the morning and found it strange that she did not see the two busy figures. After asking the other servants, she found out that they had gone to her grandfather's cemetery again. They were probably going to pray to her grandfather to protect the children. "He went to your great-grandfather's cemetery."

Caleb nagged, "Gage's rheumatism has been acting up recently. Why is he still going out? I'll talk to him properly when he's back."

Rachel said, "Let them be. Even if you don't let them go, they still care about Mom and Dad. At least they can say what's in their hearts if they go."

After breakfast.

Natalie helped the two children apply medicine. Caleb had already retired. Now, Trevon was in charge of the company's matters, so Caleb no longer went to the company.

In the study.

Rachel was moxibusting Caleb's leg. He was old and the aftereffects of the car accident had started affecting him again. His leg hurt terribly just by walking.

After applying the medicine, Olivia suddenly walked in. The door was not closed. Seeing that her Grandma was helping her Grandpa with moxibustion, she wanted to help. She reached out and wanted to take the moxibustion device from Rachel's hand, "Grandma, let me do it. Teach me how to do it."

Caleb stopped her. "Let your grandmother do it. You're still injured. This is an old illness, so don't worry."

Rachel did not give the thing in her hand to her granddaughter. She suggested, "Go down and play with Sophia. When you graduate, I will leave Grandpa's leg to you. I will retire then."

"Alright, I'll go down then."

Caleb looked at his granddaughter in relief and said, "Go."

After the child left, Caleb could not help but sigh. "Natalie taught the children very well. Be it Olivia, Sophia, or Jasper, there's nothing bad about them. Dad was wise."

Rachel said, "I agree. You don't have to look at me like that. I'm not objecting."

Seeing that her husband was still staring at her with a meaningful smile on his lips, Rachel continued, "I only made a mistake once. How many years have you been holding it on me? Even Natalie has let it go. You're really..."

Caleb smiled. "It's rare for you to make a mistake."

Rachel glared at him. Her hands were massaging Caleb's other leg.

When it came to educating children, Rachel was very supportive of her daughter-in-law's methods. She set an example and taught by example.

It was said that parents were the best teachers for their children, and Natalie had proved that it was true. Her children had seen how filial she was to her parents-in-law, and how magnanimous she was to Tucker. Her children had also seen how she took care of the patients, and how she saved the dying and helped the injured. Olivia had also been influenced by her mother. She also wanted to be a selfless person and take over her mother's job.

The three children were all very outstanding. She was especially satisfied and gratified.

Trevon woke up at around nine o'clock.

Trevon, who was dressed neatly, slowly came down the stairs. He was still adjusting his cuffs, and his tie was hanging around his neck. When Natalie saw him coming down, she took the initiative to help him take off the tie around his neck. He bent down cooperatively, and the two of them looked very heartwarming.

Jasper, who was sitting on the sofa, saw this scene and an image appeared in his mind. He subconsciously smiled.

Sophia caught Jasper smiling to himself. She stood up and asked, "Jasper, are you starting to envy Mom and Dad's love?"

Natalie helped Trevon straighten his tie and button up his suit. If not for the children, Trevon would have kissed Natalie as a reward for helping him.

Jasper glared at his sister as he said, "Don't use that emotional intelligence of yours to misinterpret my smile."

Olivia was amused by her brother's words, and she shrugged her shoulders happily. Her mother said that Sophia was very similar to his father in the sense that they both had low emotional intelligence and would always miss the right things to say.

For example, when they saw a cat meowing while running, Olivia said that it was in heat, while Sophia said that it might be too bored.

Another example was when they saw a young couple flirting with each other on the streets. Sophia asked whether they were trying to get attention or to get others to turn back and look at them.

Trevon added, "If you're envious of my relationship with your mother, bring your woman home as soon as possible."

As soon as he said this, Natalie hurriedly patted his arm and gave him a stern look. "Hurry up and leave."

Olivia, on the other hand, grasped the key point. She suddenly raised her voice as she asked in surprise, "Jasper, you have a girlfriend?"
