Turning Of The Tide (Natalie and Trevon) novel Chapter 693

It was almost noon.

The man and woman on the bed woke up slowly. She was awakened by the heat. In her sleep, she felt that she was surrounded by a furnace. Waves of heat swept over her body.

Her arms were sore and her waist was painful as if laboring for a whole day. It was very uncomfortable and she couldn't even be bothered to move.

Her throat was extremely hoarse from last night's unrestrained singing. "You..."

As soon as she spoke, she felt that something was amiss. She realized that her voice was hoarse and unpleasant. Ruby chose to purse her lips and remained silent.

Jasper was not a heavy sleeper. Last night, he was the one who slept the most soundly. He was also the one who felt the most at ease and satisfied. When he felt the movements under the blanket, he asked in a hoarse voice, "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

In the early morning, his voice was magnetic and low. His hoarseness was not because he had been speaking for a long time, but because he had not fully woken up in the morning. It was a very pleasant voice. He opened his eyes sleepily and subconsciously pulled her into his arms. "You don't want to sleep anymore?"

Because her voice was unpleasant, Ruby did not answer. She only nodded in his arms. "Yes."

"Are you feeling unwell?"

Under the blanket, Ruby felt her hand intertwined with his fingers. The other hand held his other hand and placed it on her bare waist. The meaning was very clear. Her waist was uncomfortable.

She buried her head in his chest and pretended to be ignorant. She was a little shy, and the red ink on her face spread again.

Jasper took in her actions and lowered his eyes to look at her cute appearance. His heart started to itch again. He placed his broad palm on her waist and rubbed it gently. He said in an apologetic tone, "I'm sorry. The music is DJ. Kind of loud. I lost control."

Most of the music last night was DJ. Such music by DJs was always loud and made people lost in its rhythm. Last night was so high. Under the dissipated atmosphere, the cells in his body all lost control. Coupled with the combination of the two types of music, their emotions reached their peak.

His massage was very gentle. After a while, Ruby felt that her waist did not feel so sore anymore. The heat on her face scattered a little. She asked gently, "Aren't you going to work today?"

"I'll go later. Are you still feeling unwell?"

Ruby shook her head and suddenly remembered that she was in his room. She urged, "Get up quickly. Liam will come looking for us later."

"Yes," he replied readily, but his body did not move. Instead, he hugged her even tighter. "How many times did you call me Jazzy last night? Huh?"

The last time they were in the studio, Ruby deliberately called him Jazzy. In the end, the man in front of her said that she could call him Jazzy, but not in normal times. It was only at a special moment.

It was not until last night that she finally understood the special moment that the man meant. She was joked and bit his chest.

He groaned and frowned, but he did not push her away. He indulged her and let her vent her angry love. A few seconds later, Ruby pulled back and looked at her masterpiece in satisfaction. Her teeth marks were all over his chest as if this man had been branded by her.

Jasper lowered his head to look at the shallow and neatly arranged teeth marks on his chest. He reached out to touch them and asked, "Ruby, I want to tattoo your name here."

Ruby looked up and met his serious gaze. She sensed that he was not joking. She did not expect him to have such a romantic idea. She was very touched, but she did not want him to do this. She reached out and hugged him, leaning her cheek against his chest. "No, I don't agree."

Jasper lowered his head and kissed the top of her head. He asked, "Why?"

She stretched out her index finger and tapped his chest with her fingertip. She said seriously, "As long as you have me here, I can feel it."

Whether he loved her or not, it could be seen from his eyes. Otherwise, she wouldn't have waited for so long.

Ruby thought it through very clearly. She only wanted Jasper to have her in his heart. If he didn't love her, so what if his entire body was engraved with her name? Moreover, she liked his body to be intact and perfect. As she was thinking, her hand touched an uneven place on his chest.

She could not care less. Without hesitation, she pulled the blanket down. Jasper did not stop her. She would find out sooner or later. It was too dark last night and she was in a daze. It was normal that she hadn't noticed it.

Her fingers rubbed against a scar on his chest. It was not deep, a very faint scar. Ruby frowned and asked, "When did you get this wound?"

From the wound, she could tell that it was very deep at that time. She could even see traces of stitches with her naked eyes, but it was faint now.

She began to recall. Before Jasper could say that he was fine, the smart Ruby had already thought of the time when this scar would fall. She looked up at him guiltily. "You were injured that day, right?"

Seeing that her small eyes were wide open, he lowered his head and kissed her eyelids, trying to divert her attention. He said gently with a smile on his lips, "You're not getting up, hm? Aren't you afraid that Liam will come looking for you?"

Seeing that he was about to change the topic, Ruby asked again in a domineering tone, "You lied to me that day. You were injured, right? This injury was caused by those people last time."

He smiled and comforted her when she refused to let go. He pinched her cheek and put his arms around her. "I'm better now," he said casually. "I just don't want you to worry, you know." He couldn't bear to see her cry.

After saying this, Ruby could not help but cry. Her eyes were twinkling, and tears blurred her vision and moistened his chest.
