"Let me go."
Brett snorted and said, "Izabella, do you think I was bluffing with the warning I gave you?"
Izabella gripped her phone tightly, her whole body trembling. She took a deep breath and croaked, "Brett, you've locked me up in Crystal Bay Mansions, where else can I go?"
"Go ahead and run, I'm not stopping you. But if you do something wrong, you have to face the consequences, even a kid knows that." Brett sneered, "Since you take my words as nonsense, why don't you try and see what's more I can do?"
Izabella's face turned pale, her lips turning blue. The butler standing outside the door witnessed Izabella's body tremble and shake, barely able to stand.
Izabella slightly turned her head to look at the sky outside the window, and in an instant, she accepted this reality. She sighed in despair and said, "Brett, you're crazy."
"Well, you're the one who drove me crazy!" Brett hung up the call.
Izabella's expression was dull. She lowered her head, and her right hand, holding the phone, suddenly lost its strength. The phone fell to the floor with a clatter.
Izabella had low blood sugar, and now she felt extremely dizzy. She staggered back a few steps and fell painfully to the ground.
Fortunately, there was a carpet on the floor, so the fall didn't hurt too much. The butler's eyelids twitched, and he went over to help her up. But before he could touch her, Izabella suddenly roared like an angry little beast.
"Get out!"
The butler retracted his hand, picked up the phone, and closed the bedroom door.
Izabella didn't eat a single bite of the food the maid brought her. She sat on the bed, blankly staring out the window.
After Brett hung up the phone, Liam, who was standing outside the president's office, knocked on the door and entered.
"President Windham, we've found out who cut off Lucas's hand."
"Who?"
