Zachary was taken aback; the question had clearly stumped him.
Xavier's thin lips curled into a slight smile. "I won't hurt her. Then again, words alone don't mean anything. You can keep an eye on me."
Surprised by his response, Zachary quickly said, "Alright, it's a deal. I'll keep a close watch on you."
After their conversation, Zachary closed his eyes and tried to go to fall asleep. However, since he'd been used to sleeping alone since he'd been two or three years old, he found it really uncomfortable to have a grown man lying next to him.
He tossed and turned, unable to sleep. But he couldn't just leave. What if Xavier took the chance to go to Yvette while he was gone?
It was a long, difficult night. The next morning, he got up early and was taken to kindergarten by Ray.
…
Meanwhile, Terrence fled back to Tirion overnight. He was terrified. He couldn't understand why Xavier had told him to find Yvette when they were living together.
Just thinking about Xavier's murderous gaze that night scared him. He was too afraid to go back to Titan Corporation to ask for money, so he went home, feeling dejected.
At Yandell Mansion, Yara told Zoey that she had news about Cameron. "I heard she's coming back to the country. We'll be able to see her very soon."
Zoey hugged her. "Mom, you're amazing."
"Of course," Yara replied.
When she saw Terrence returning, looking disheveled, she couldn't help but worry. "Where have you been all night?"
Terrence certainly didn't want to tell the truth. "I only went out for some drinks."
Zoey, who was standing nearby, wasn't pleased. "Terrence, stop using our family name to bluff and deceive people. You'll be in big trouble if my dad finds out."
Terrence was still shaken from Xavier's scare last night. So when he heard Zoey's threat, he immediately became infuriated.
