When Yvette heard what Mark had to say, she looked calm. "What does that have to do with me?" She had also been humiliated in every way back when she was in the mansion, and Xavier had done nothing to help her.
Mark was stunned, and he softly said, "Can you help him for what he did to save you?" After hearing that, she thought about how Xavier had helped her deal with Tony when they'd been abroad.
She kept quiet for a moment before saying, "Even if I go there, what can I possibly do? He can't see a thing, and I'm hearing-impaired. Are you sure I can help him at all?"
Yvette was just saying it as it was. A great family like the Lanes would never respect her at all.
"Well…" Mark hesitated. When she noticed that, she thought he had given up. So, she got up to get the bill. Then, he stopped her again. "It's just that I won't have to worry if you're there."
Mark knew Yvette was a tough woman. With her at the mansion, it wouldn't get too messy. Before Yvette could say anything, Noah couldn't help saying, "Mom, just help Mr. Xavier. He's so pitiful after being abandoned."
Zachary didn't understand why he would want to help Xavier out of the blue.
"Alright. In that case, I'll send the kids home first." Yvette decided to agreed to the request after hearing what Noah said.
Mark immediately got the bill and let them ride his car. After sending the two children home, Yvette asked Ray to take her to Lane Mansion.
Zachary couldn't resist asking Noah at home, "Why did you ask Mom to help that bastard? What if she gets bullied?"
"Zac, I want to check out the situation there. Do you know how we can go there?" Noah suddenly said.
