When Yvette heard that, she frowned.
Terrence continued yapping, "Do you know how much humiliation I've received in the past few years? I used to be the one who bullies others! You've got to help me, Yvette. As long as you see Jeremiah, he'll definitely help us."
She didn't want to listen to him at all. Just as she was about to end the call, she unexpectedly heard him saying, "If Mom hadn't tricked me, the Snyder family wouldn't have fallen in the first place."
"What do you mean?" she immediately asked.
Terrence was extremely drunk as he carefreely sat on the street. Shortly before he'd called her, he'd been kicked out of the club by the staff.
Since Lawrence had frozen his card, he didn't have the money to pay for the bill. He'd even gotten beaten up by the people there.
"Why do you think our great family business just went down in just three years? It was because Mom told me to transfer everything to her lover, Lawrence Yandell!
"Now, not only are the Yandells rich and ungrateful, they even dared to freeze my card. I was beaten up because of that.
"If it hadn't been for Tristan, I would've been dead by now." Terrence told Yvette about everything that had happened in the past.
After she listened to him silently, she finally realized how naive she was. She had always thought Yara had met Lawrence after leaving the country. It turned out that wasn't the case.
"Are you saying that Yara contacted some other man shortly after Dad passed away?"
At that moment, Terrence was slightly awake, and he stuttered, "Well… I don't know about that… Regardless, just help me and see Jeremiah this once. I'm your biological brother, and we're related by blood! If I become successful again, you can still be the daughter of the great Snyder family."
Right after he said that, the call ended. Yvette held her phone tightly as she stood still. All she felt was chill in her back.
