Unbreakable Love His Passion for Her Transcends Death novel Chapter 524

Jeremiah was at the party, and Gemma was standing next to him.

"Jerry, I think we should take the partnership slowly. You're still young, so it's normal for you to overlook some details. We can continue our partnership after you've gained more experience."

Her intentions were clear. She was talking about Zoey when she said he'd overlooked some details. He understood it as well. However, he remained calm as he watched her leave.

At that moment, Sunny approached him and said, "Jerry, you sure have great in-laws. Although the Yandells are mediocre, Zoey's mother is greater than she looks."

Jeremiah just smiled and didn't show any changes in his expression.

As they spoke, Mark had noticed them. He softly said to Xavier, "Mr. Lane, Mr. Jeremiah is with Sunny now."

The Lanes and the Lumbers were rivals, and Sunny hated Xavier to the core. It finally made sense to Xavier why Jeremiah had been acting weird recently. "Get someone to keep an eye on them."

"Yes, sir."

Another reason why Xavier had come here was to find out which of his previous business partners were sincere. Some of the people he had taken care of in the past talked to him and weren't afraid of offending Jeremiah.

Daphne had already noticed Xavier a while ago. When she saw him, she thought about what Jeremiah had told her to do. Then, she gripped the glass of wine in her hand tightly.

Meanwhile, Jeremiah called her. "I'll be looking forward to your performance tonight."

"Sure."

After he ended the call, he asked Sunny, "We have to watch out for Mark. He has some tricks up his sleeve."

Sunny chuckled. "Don't worry. As long as they touch something at the party, they won't be able to resist anything. Besides, we have something else planned, right?"

He was enjoying himself a lot. In fact, he wanted nothing more than to deal with every single person who'd gone against him. Yet, he wasn't that bold. So, all he could do was pull strings in the shadows.

He asked in confusion, "Why don't you just kill him, Jerry? That way, the whole Lane family will be yours."

He'd once done the same thing and gotten his own brother killed.
