Kara was brought to another room by Henry. She watched him zipping down.
Her eyes were red and her lips trembled, tears falling on the back of his hand. But the man didn't feel any pity.
Henry unbuttoned Kara's jacket, and stared at her beautiful collarbone with a greedy look, like a wild dog seeing bones.
"Let, let me go," Kara begged.
"Ok, as long as you sign this contract."
Henry released her, delivered the contract to her, and handed her a pen.
Kara clutched the pen in her hand. Tears dripped onto the document, and then went fainted, just like her resistance.
She felt hot all over as she tried to control her anger. She sobbed and the veins on her arm popped.
"Baby, sign this contract and I will be gentle to you. Otherwise, your first time will hurt. Are you afraid of pain?" Henry touched her little face and wanted to wipe her tears but she avoided it.
Henry didn't get angry and waited for her for a minute. But Kara didn't write anything. He felt annoyed.
"One's patience is limited. If you don't sign now, your tears and begging won't do you any good later."
"I, will not sign it!"
Kara would rather die than yield!
"It's not up to you!" Henry smiled evilly and pointed at the camera in front of the bed.
"Little girl, if the sexual process is filmed and shared with others, what do you think?"
Kara shook her head desperately. She had never felt so in despair.
It was even worse than death.
Henry pinched her chin and could not help but exclaim, "Your face is tender and white. It's really pretty. However, it will look better later."
"No!"
...
The annual Dragon Boat Festival was going on in the Hemmings'.
Zoey had called Kathleen to the house. At the dining table, she motioned for Kathleen to sit beside James with a wink.
Kathleen thought of being humiliated by James in the mall last time. She had mixed feelings about him.
But when she walked toward James and smelled the faint fragrance of mint on his body, those emotions instantly dissipated. Her blood surging, she became extremely excited.
She lowered her head shyly, sat down gracefully, and looked at him from time to time.
James was sitting with his back straight. His side face looked perfect. One would be fully attracted when stared at by his deep brown eyes.
He was president of the SA Group, known as the youngest successful entrepreneur, and the man that countless women yearned for.
If a girl married him, all the socialites in NK City would be jealous of her.
"James, you'll be engaged to Kathleen in a month. Don't forget that." Zoey reminded him with a smile.
"I know, Grandma." James glanced at Kathleen with his cold brown eyes.
Kathleen noticed that James was looking at her, so she immediately lowered her head, her heart pounding.
"That's right." Then, Zoey asked Kathleen with a smile, "Kathleen, you'll be James' wife in a month. Are you happy with that?"
"Sure," Kathleen replied shyly.
"It's good. I'm expecting a great-grandson next year. It's best to have two in three years." Zoey looked at Kathleen with hopefulness and deliberately glanced at her belly.
"Grandma."
Kathleen was even more embarrassed. She looked at James, who gave no reaction. Her heart sank.
Since James had agreed to marry Kathleen, why was he still so indifferent towards her?
He had never treated that invalid Kara in this way!
